But I still see some mental weakness's during and after his fights. In the Morales fight he looked very upset and full of excuses afterwards. He complained about the gloves, shoes, the cut and loads of other things. He didnt mention the blood test when HBO interviewed him but that has been used as an excuse too. I wish he could have just gave Morales credit instead. That showed me that he was a sore loser, The defeat got to him and you could really see it when he started crying.

I don't know why he talked about Floyd's trash talking because Floyd hasnt said that much about him. I would say Pacquiao has done more talking calling Floyd a "coward" etc etc. You shouldnt call somebody a trash talker and then go and talk **** straight afterwards. Pacquiao should have just not said anything at all, We all know his trainer is a huge trash talker so why he said that was strange to me. Floyd isnt going to stop his "trash talking" because Manny wants him to. lol
If Pac vs Floyd gets signed, we will see how mentally tough he is because Floyd is going to mock him about testing and that ass whooping he took from Morales non stop; including the KO he took early in his career. Floyd isn't going to be nice to Manny like all his (Pac) other opponents have. Pac is going to hear **** in interviews, press conferences, even in the ring; he's going to get beaten mentally, like all the rest.

Yes, I think he's mentally strong.

He won't be able to take the frustration that Floyd will create for him inside and outside of the ring. Floyd will talk ****, and manny won't be able to make comebacks with his limited english. It's not like being a **** talker is manny's style, anyways. Floyd frustrates the hell out of him in the ring before stopping him in the final round.

I agree. Fighting Mayweather will be totally different from all of his other opponents. People might say Pacquiao doesnt care about the trash talk but neither did De La Hoya and Mosley, and Floyd got to both of those two. Fighting Floyd is a cold dose of reality for alot of guys, They think "Okay he's very good but he talks way too much, I can beat him" but he makes you want to destroy him in the ring with what he says and doing that you make alot of mistakes. Another problem for him is that Mayweather always rises to the occassion in his biggest fights, If Pacquiao fights wrecklessly then he will get knocked out. I think Floyd will get to him alot in the build-up like you said, He really dislikes Pacquiao much more than most of his previous opponents. Just from what iv'e heard from him in interviews etc.

Of course he is mentally strong. Just because you feel that you would be weakened doesn't mean your mentally weak, it's just his beliefs.

To get to where he is now there is no doubt where is his mind everytime he trains and prepares for a fight.

i still don't understand why people in here question that. he wouldn't get to where he is if he folds easily. you people havent obviously seen the wars he fought against people who outskilled him in the ring but still beat or just flat out gave a hard fight

not to mention pac does a lot of **** on the side.. singing/business/ and now a politian.. yet u ask how mentally strong the dude is on a fight? the **** outta here

if ever it was floyd who cracks under presser.. when is pitted against cotto or margarito.. he cracks and retires

he even cried after the hatton fight saying that was his hardest LOL pathetic

But he also cried like a girl after Morales beat him.

I'm not saying he is mentally weak but he doesnt seem that mentally strong to me. Why did he start crying? Why couldnt he just give Morales props and ask for a rematch? Actions like that make him seem like an immature person.
