At one point in the second fight I think, Brian Minto landed and threw something like fourteen straight left hooks. So yeah, entertaining for sure. These guys went balls to the wall. lol

this fight will be in the states so fury will really benefit from training & sparring in an American gym.if this fights in vegas he could benefit from sparring with guys like tye fields, lance whitaker, cisse salif.the quality sparring partners are just too scarce in Europe.fury has been spinning his wheels lately & it shows.maddalone is an excellent opponent.he's a tough, durable guy who comes forward swinging & isn't hard to find.this actually may benefit Tyson because of his size & reach.this will be his coming out party or the night he gets exposed.I have no doubt if he holds most of his camp in the states & gets the proper training he needs to improve,he may have little trouble with maddalone.if he dogs it & stays home for his training camp he may have a real hard time with maddalone.he needs time to adapt to the American food, enviormemt, etc. He is a new father so who knows what he does.if he can't beat maddalone,he should consider doing something else.this is a make or break fight for him but the exposure he gets on showbox can only help him.I actually want him to do well so we have another guy to follow up the ranks....he is a colorful guy.

Maddalone is one of my favorite fighters to watch. He will most likely show up in better shape than Fury and put the pressure on him. I think Maddalone overwhelms Fury and knocks him out.

Hopefully Maddalone KOs Fury and ends the hype.

This is a perfect fight for Fury as Vinny gets hit with everything and bleeds when you look at him.
I don't understand how Showtime would even buy this fight.
I pick Fury if it ever happens.

this fight isn't happening in august.maddalone says he's got a bigger fight in sept or October vs a big name opponent...well bigger than fury.he said he never heard anything about this fight but would love to go to England & fight him.although he could cancel if this fury fight is on showtime. The pay would be better I'm sure...his opponent he wouldn't comment until the deal is finalized...******** boxing article.I guess he owns a bar & restaurant in queens.

I'd give Maddalone a great chance to beat him and squash all the unwarranted Tyson Fury hype...
I've read this a few times in this thread.

                What hype?

Nobody thinks Fury is anything yet. His only get out is that he is a very, very young Heavyweight and is passionate about the sport.

He isn't especially good enough yet. He's not even really in the top 10 on the domestic scene.
