I find it curious that Arum is making this announcement.... I mean Arum and Mayweather have very little regard for each other and for Arum to come out and say... "the contract is done.... now the only thing holding up the fight is Mayweather...... he has until mid-July or the fight is off"

Something seems off to me.... I hope I'm wrong and Mayweather's signing is just a formality... but I dont think so.

My guess is Mayweather didn't get everything he wanted and Arum ran out of patience waiting for Floyd to come around. Schaffer said if your done negotiating then you make the announcement... because as far as I'm concerned I'm still negotiating for my fighter and he's the one paying me.
