He still doesn't explain why Manny fought joshua clottey, a relative unknown to the casual boxing fan but isn't willing to fight Tim Bradley who is at least american, a smart boxer and is certainly more popular than the fighter from Ghana.

Not only that, but they're much better fights anyway.

          Win win.

Clottey's been on HBO more than Bradley and has been in bigger fights than him too.

That is because Bradley has fought most of his fights on Showtime. Are you saying that HBO is the only cable network that matters?

Arum and maywither....they're both playing our asses. Going back and forth between marg, cotto and maywither. I'm fed up with this! Why not just be honest and tell us there aren't really any negotiations between pac and maywither and that you're purely dangling the carrot in front of our noses so that we salivate more and more for the pac vs maywither fight. Pure strategy, but clever. I understand this is boxing and its a business. But at least respect us as boxing fans and be a little bit more transparent. By the time pac vs maywither happens, I will have paid 60 for another fight (pac vs ?) and then another 60 for pac vs maywither by end of 2011. Then what you do is multiply 120 by 6 million people and suddenly Mr. Arum ****ed all of us in the ass.

showtime boxing is a freaking joke compared to HBO

almost all the top p4p and ppv kings have been fighting on HBO for decades

Ppl act like clottey isnt a good fighter, he beat the crap outta cotto and lost cuz of the idiot judges. He was supposed to fight Shane Mosley but Mosley punked out. When Floyd crapped his pants at the thought of fighting Manny, Clottey stepped up sold 700,000 PPVS and some 50,000 ppl showed up in Texas to watch Pacquiao fight him. Sounds like a successful boxing event to me when

                      a) Mayweather was afraid to fight without osdt
                      b) Mosley was supposed to fight Berto
                      c) Margarito was suspended due to cheating
                      d) Cotto just got destroyed by Pacquiao and no one wants to see that again
