Comments Thread For: Arum Explains Why Pacquiao Would Face Margarito, Cotto

Promoter Bob Arum this week scoffed at the notion he wants only his Top Rank Inc. boxers to fight the company's cash cow, Manny Pacquiao. This comes on the heels of fellow promoter Gary Shaw last week telling BoxingScene.com that Arum isn't willing to consider non-Top Rank fighters for Pacquiao's next fight should a fight not get made for Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr. [Click Here To Read More]

Wait. I thought Pacquiao fought anybody regardless of their PPV attraction quality???

Oh well *******s I guess Boxing really is a business. It's always about money, even Pacquiao is guilty.

Arum needs to cut the bull**** and make the Mayweather fight happen.

That is some B.S. by Arum. IMO Clottey is not that much of a bigger name than Bradley in fact Bradley just might be more known than Clottey is. It is just easier for Arum to set all the advantages for Manny against his other fighters than it is for him to do that against another fighter who is not promoted by him.

ofcourse this is a business..........we shouldn't begrudge fighters for chasing money. I don't begrudge Pac fighting for money...i begrudge the fact that he says he doesn't fight for it when he clearly does. His fans are too fanatical to call him out on any bull**** so it really doesn't matter.

Arum talking bollocks and he knows it.Pacquiao fought Clottey for $7.5m and the Cotto fight wasnt guaranteed over $10m like he claims.Any fighter Pacquiao fights next apart from Mayweather wont be a guaranteed $10m.

Arum talking out of his ass again, Clottey was never a PPV fighter and how many PPV events has Margo headlined?

He is doing the same with the careers of Juama and Gamboa, I do understand it is a business so just say that we are looking for the most profitable fight out there instead of giving misleading reports
