why do the so called "experts" have to speak for cotto? it was so easy to see that cotto was not affected by the - 1 lb. yes, it was 1 lb not 2lbs. i say 1 lb because cotto's weigh-in weights in previous fights has been mostly at 146, not 147.

both cotto and delahoya said it wasnt the catch weight the reason for the lose to pacquiao, but the speed, yes, both cotto and delahoya couldnt deal with pac's speed...but yet you'll continue to hear the "so called experts" bring up the weight drain issue due to the catch weight...

as far as pac being the catch weight king, the catch weight against delahoya wasnt pacs fault, pac/delahoya had to meet somewhere, it just so happens that pac only had to add a couple of lbs, while delahoya had to come down about 10 lbs.

the catchweight against cotto, which took away only 1 lb from cotto's natural weigh-in weight of 146 is so highly exagerrated by anti pac fans. anti pac fan will continue to use that as an excuse while cotto said that it was pacs speed and not the weight.

also, i dont think a catchweight will be necessary against cotto because cotto's weigh in weight and fight night weight for a jr middle fight will be basically the same...the same as what cotto'f fight nite weight was against pac.

Ok, according to a story on Boxing-----talk dot com in the lead up to the Pacquiao-Cotto fight, one of the main sparring partners for Cotto confirmed that Gato was sent home for going too hard on Cotto, ********** then tried to confirm this by speaking to Gato but he refused to be interviewed on the subject, So I knew the story was true.

Perfectly stated.. Thank you.. And its funny how people cry about that extra pound Cotto had to loose like it really would of made a difference.

On this Topic, NO NEED TO REMATCH COTTO. Obviously Steward would pursue it since its a big payday for him and also an opp to dethrone Pac and Roach but really NO NEED FOR THIS REMATCH..

Cotto is the same old Cotto......he moved slightly better, but when Manny brings the pressure he will fold.

And lastly Cotto, win or lose needs to start thinking of retirement and stacking money therefore he needs a 50% split and a good guaranteed purse or push hard for a Mayweather fight...which may actually be more entertaining to watch since May won't have enough power and pressure to knock him out but will connect alot and Cotto will have his moments early...whereas Mayweather will just toy with Pac all night ala Sugar Ray v. Duran till Pac says "no mas!".
agree with the first part and laughed at the bolded. floyd would put cotto on ***** street

He didn't see the punches coming because Manny rarely stood face to face with Cotto that night. So basically it was Manny's awkward style that really did Cotto in, not specifically his speed
Dude think about what your saying and you'll see you are totally contradicting yourself. LOL

pacman let cotto hit him up top and to the body and pacman was like "PSSSHH, OK LETS TRADE"

once cotto tasted pacs power he started moonwalking, pacs speed might go down alittle but his power is gonna go up if they fight at 154
