Miguel is a warrior. He is another one of my favorites. No excuses. Ricky Hatton, though he lacks in the skills department, always gave it his all and tested himself against two ATGs of our Era. You already know i'ma say Manny, climbing up 7 divisions and fighting boxers that everyone thought was laughable 2 years ago says it all. Morales, Barrera, Marquez,Duran, SRL, SRR, Ali, Hearns, Frazier..etc.. could go on forever. I believe there are many fighters out there that loved to get in there and prove their worth. But the business aspect cannot be denied and that's even more evident now with technology/media.

I think there is too much information available now and the boxing game itself has changed. Boxing is no longer one of americas biggets sports. I hate MMA and barely watch but you could argue its bigger than boxing.

BAck in the day we would never know how negotiations went and who wanted what ring size, gloves etc. You and I could'nt even be on this board exchanging.

I'm all for what floyd and manny are doing in terms of opponents at this stage of their careers. But i hate the fact Chavez Jr. and Khan can do it so early in their careers. But its how the game is played now.
