You got to ask yourself this, that this fight could have happened so many months ago. Couldn't the Olympic style drug testing crusade be put on hold for one more fight???

    I mean come on seriously.
Well, personally considering how against it Pacquiao was, i wouldn't want to see this fight happen and then find out after the fact that Pacquiao was up to something. If a fighter is clean, it shouldn't be an issue.

But it's not up to me, I'm not the person that's stepping into the ring with Pacquiao, and if Mayweather truely believes that Pac is on something he has the right to protect himself.

I really don't get this whole "it wont matter, they can still cheat defense" would you rather no testing or testing that hasn't improved in years? Fact is someone who wants to cheat will try to find a way, but having OST will make them think twice before they do.

How would you find out Pacquiao was up to something?

It's called Cycling, they use PEDS many months before the fight. No test can detect it.

so why bother testing at all then, like i said it's a step in the right direction. What i don't understand is how anyone can be so against it?

Exactly its pointless. Its a pointless step, that has more chances of breaking fights rather than making fights.

The right step is to test 'Off-Season' that is the program that should be introduced. All year round testing 365 random. Not just a month or two before the fight, it's no good.

going from no blood testing, to year-round testing is a huge leap, one step at a time, but like i said, fighter will have more to think about before deciding to cheat.

If the shoddy testing administered by the NSAC occasionally catches a stumbling idiot, how much more effective would random testing be? Mathematically, it's not even in the same stratosphere.

                Exactly those are stumbling idiots.

See your another person that have been duped into thinking it's random. The boxer that signs to OST know exactly when he gets tested. Between when he signs and to the time he fights. There is nothing random about it.

They do know the timeframe. However, it is still far more effective. So why quibble over it?

Not quibbling over it. Just disappointed that this fight is not happening because of new testing. Or it may happen, we don't know. It's just frustrating because it should have happened by now.

Floyd will make demands upon demands.. and then what?

Atleast you see Pac bending over trying to make the fight while Floyd throws in road block after road block..
