How is Berto a bigger draw than Alexander is? His fight in FL did jack **** at the gate and it was for a Haiti charity relief. That tells you all you need to know about Berto's lack of fan base. And if you want to compare their performances with Urango, it's easy to come to the conclusion that Alexander is better and more dangerous than Berto. Arum already said Bradley isn't worth Pacquiao's time and Mayweather passed the torch to Alexander. This is actually for another one of your posts that said there's more money at 147 than at 140.

Devon and Cunningham are for real old school. Timmy's got no leverage, and no fan base, yet believes (and he truely does) he should be getting seven digit purses. Alexander wants to fight - Bradley is starting to remind me of David Haye with all the unrealistic **** he yalks.

LOL again? Really Cunningham? This is starting to look like Judah-Spinks all over again, just with one side staying shut (whereas Yoel Judah Didnt hesistate to shout back). I know Cunningham very well. First he shows his immature side, and then afterwards he tries to act like a victim and draw the fans to his side. Behind the crackhead side, he's a very wise guy. I hope Timmy takes the same route as Judah and doesn't let it get to the point where he starts getting hated.

For the hundredth time, Timmy is NOT moving up to 147 permanently. The Abregu fight is just to make it known that he's available in both divisions. In fact, Maidana is the frontrunner for a November showdown. I think he should take at least two more fights at 140 before going for the 147 title, but time isn't exactly on his side, and his body isn't exactly built for JWW either.

And as for the David Haye comparisons, that's just ******ed. After Abregu, Timmy will be targetting nothing but big fights. It's not like he's targetting lightweights with big names like GBP and Cunningham are (Joel Casamayor and Humberto fricken Soto) when there are guys like Lamont Peterson and Kaiser Mabiza available.

Which is all the more reason he needs to hurry up and fight Alexander. I don't want to hear this **** of how Bradley was weight drained if Alexander beats him. Alexander's body frame is similar to Bradley's too and he's not making excuses not to take on all comers at 140.

So why is he not fighting Peterson or Mabuza? He is fighting a fighter coming off a loss to Khan..Bradley is fighting a beast and a bigger man..Come on lets not act as if Devon can't go up to 147 himself there is no rush this is all hype.

That's a good point. He should get it out of the way before it's too late. If things were my way, I'd say Maidana, then Alexander, then Berto, then he can say whatever the hell he wants if he beats all three (personally, I think style wise only Alexander has a chance). If Khan and Ortiz want it after that, they should have to move up because they had their chance.

But in a business like boxing, things can't always go that way. Sure Berto isn't a big draw, but he is HBO's child for some odd reason, and they suck him off despite getting nothing in return. But if someone like Bradley replaced him, now they'd have an exciting, skilled fighter who is more capable of bringing the money in. And then once Alexander beats on Kotelnik and a few other guys at 140, he'll move up and a bigger fight between them can happen. They both deserve that. They've earned it. But if they beat eachother up now, then they'll sit on the sidelines while Ortiz and Khan fight tomato cans and I'm sure Berto will be defeated by someone eventually (you even said Jones can dethrone him). Then where will they go from there?

But they are not the same size at all. Alexander may be longer, but he's leaner and less muscular whereas Bradley is complete
muscle and blows up to 160+.

Because by fighting Kotelnik, he gets a "1up" on Bradley because Kotelnik "beat" Maidana. ****** decision? Yes. Devon and Cunninghim are worrying about one guy instead of his entire career, and that's a bad choice. I mean what if he loses to Bradley? Then he's screwed. Or what if he doesn't get the fight? Then he'll be clueless because he's so busy chasing one guy that he has no other plans. And what if for some reason Kotelnik makes him look bad by stealing a few rounds? Then Khan will have a real 1up on him. I predict that Devon will be in the same situation as P.Will was a few years ago if he doesn't smarten up now.
