This division now just pisses me off. I used to respect these guys but now all they do is duck and open their mouth. Its obvious that bradley is going to make a run at the welterweight title. Pac and May are on the verge of retirement and if bradley beats abregu and then berto he will automatically jump to the number one spot. I'd rather him fight at 140 but cant blame a guy for making a good career move. He'll get more attention as the welterweight champion than as a junior welt champion.

Because by fighting Kotelnik, he gets a "1up" on Bradley because Kotelnik "beat" Maidana. ****** decision? Yes. Devon and Cunninghim are worrying about one guy instead of his entire career, and that's a bad choice. I mean what if he loses to Bradley? Then he's screwed. Or what if he doesn't get the fight? Then he'll be clueless because he's so busy chasing one guy that he has no other plans. And what if for some reason Kotelnik makes him look bad by stealing a few rounds? Then Khan will have a real 1up on him. I predict that Devon will be in the same situation as P.Will was a few years ago if he doesn't smarten up now.Comment

I don't know with you guys but i think T. Bradley is doing the right thing. It seems to me there is so many road blocks in making a fight at 140 these days and him coming up to 147 is not a bad idea. He can earn him self a belt in this division improving or adding to his resume IMHO, beside the rest of the 140 fight will some day have to come up to 147 anyway by that time T. Bradley will be the Man to beat at 147 hopefully.Comment

You know, I sometimes ask myself the same thing. I think Alexander would wipe the floor with Mabuza too, but he still should've fought him to get that mandatory out the way. Now he's likely to get stripped by Suliman's corrupt ass. HBO wouldn't pick up a Mabuza-Alexander fight and instead shoved Kotelnik down our throats and I have no idea why. I don't know if that Devon's fault though since he's contracted to HBO. But to me, neither Mabuza or Kotelnik are that good and you fight the guy that is your mandatory.Comment

Exactly! I am a fan of Bradley but you can't just ditch the division without having fought the top guys.Last edited by MegatronCEN*CAL; 06-27-2010, 02:12 PM.Comment

If Bradley beats his next opponent and then get's a fight with Andre Berto, he would far surpass Devon Alexander. Yes, I want to see both fight each other but we can let it brew for a while. Bradley won't get the Pacman fight but he could become the new king of 147 (besides Mayweather) if Pacman fights Cotto or Margarito then retires and Tim beats Berto...Comment
