So you cant give him credit for anything? He brutally beat the guy and looked great.
Its obvioius you just dont like him because that was a great fight and not 1 person that bought the PPV was disappointed.
These are the kind of fights people pay to see and it was greatComment

Man dont you hate after every PPV when we see a fight, the fighter that wins always seem to be able to beat the other Elite fighters.
Martinez would blow Chavez out the door
Williams Ko him
Cotto will bring him to school and show him how its done!
Margarito well thats the only good fight i see out there for ChavezComment

Duddy is all heart and not much else. Any polished observer would know this ahead of time.
He'd make anyone look great.

Duddy has taken beatings from some seriously limited fighters, even though he won. He also won a controversial decision against Yori Boy, who was pretty significantly over the hill when they fought. Duddy isn't a terrible fighter, but he's a B level guy. This is great match making from Arum. If you look how he puts his fights together and builds his guys up to sacrifice him to his other guys, you'll see how good he really is at it. Expect Yuri Foreman to get some nice wins against limited guys to build him up and then be sacrificed to either Manny or Amir Khan. Chavez Jr will probably be sacrificed at some point. Cotto is on the sacrifice list. Right now he's just being built up again. Margarito is the same. Arum is building him up to tear him down. Arum doesn't like his guys fighting outside his own stable, because it messes with his vision.
Not saying this is a bad win, but people have to keep it in perspective. If I see Chavez jr in any P4P lists, or listed as one of the top guys in his divison, I'll shake my head. I expect Dan Rafael to really overreact to the win and say Chavez Jr is in the top 5 at 160.Comment

I was thinking the same thing about the Match Making.
Duddy and Chavez are like mirror images of each other in terms of talent and style.
It was good showing by Chavez, but I think that's as good as he's gonna get. I can't imagine him fighting like that with any of the bigger names in the sport and being successful. But Jr always new how to fight for the most part, which is why I never understood why people would dismiss him as fast as they did. A little polish never hurt anyone, or anything for that matter and that's what he got being in a legitimate training camp for this fight.
But you could tell just from the fact that he couldn't really pull the trigger to finish Duddy when he had the chances that he's just not on that other level. He can turn over a decent punch though. He's always been able to.Comment

^^^^ Exactly.
I did not even pick a winner for this fight. It was a toss up in my eyes. Now peole acting like they "expected" JCC to go crazy on Duddy like he did. I sure as hell didnt.Comment
