    Roach before the Mosley-Mayweather fight:

“Mayweather makes some basic mistakes- like when he sticks his chin out and puts his hands down- but none of it matters because of his speed. He uses the shoulder roll a lot obviously. While he seems to use it more defensively than offensively, he really uses it as a trap: He’ll lure an opponent into thinking it’s only a defensive move, and that’s when he’ll roll and throw his right. It’s what he did to Oscar (De La Hoya) , and caught him a couple of times with that shot in the second half of the fight.”

Pacquiao and Roach in the Clottey post-fight interview:

Roach: “Well, Manny’s a little disappointed in Floyd and his accusations, he makes fun of him a little bit when we’re in the gym, and he shows me how he’d crush that defense. And we will crush him.”
Pacquiao: “I think his style is not difficult style like Clottey, it’s easy to study…”

    Thoughts?
throw exactly 1 million punches and hope some land

basically, keep avoiding him like you've been doing, coz no strategy that they come up with will work for them----sorry---try again---

The chances of Mayweather KO'ing Pac are as good as Pac outboxing Mayweather. It's won't happen.

well for starters i knew floyd was going to beat shane... didnt think shane was going to almost drop floyd but what do you expect when a fighter with a 74% ko record hits ya clean? but anyway..if he knocks out pacquaio there will be no excuses obviously but i just dont see him ko'ing pac. floyd doesnt have that in him to finish a guy off like leonard or ali anymore...if he would of put together more than 2 punches on shane that would of been ko 26 for mr mayweather. i think pac's aggression and punchout will mess with floyd and to me that gives him a slight edge and oh the size of the ring matters too and i guarantee that will be a big debate in negotiations

the more aggressive pac tries to get, the worse it will be for him the sooner the fight will be stopped

the more pac tries to think, the slower the beating he will take from floyd

anybody can be caught with a punch they don't see southpaw, and floyd is the master of catching you with punches you don't see, because of how he positions his stance in combination with his leverage and movement---floyd toys with his opponents, but he can ko manny and it wouldn't shock me at all-----manny isn't hard to hit----and it depends on which floyd comes to fight----top rank and team pacquiao have pissed floyd off, and let's just wait and see the press conferences and see how floyd responds to everything---i'm telling you----he will put on a performance of a lifetime, and he knows manny gets hit a lot but manny is one dimensional, especially when moving back, he can't fight going backwards to save his life----kind of like shane---floyd will fight manny in the pocket and hit the living **** out of him, i'm telling you---the worst thing manny can do is fight floyd in the pocket---manny has to sworm his opponents and catch them with little sneaky punches while throwing his combos---floyd is much more tempered and precise with his shots which is why he can land them at will while not even looking at the head, his eyes are his best weapon, he sees like the matrix---and i'm telling you, he can not only stop manny, he can ko him, and neither on would shock me at all----

so yes, he can ko manny---will he? only time will tell-----he will dominate him though, that's for damn sure---

look, it dont matter. manny doesnt have thew ability to get the win. he doesnt have the SKILLS. took him 8 frikkin years to learn a right hook and still drops his guard hand. throw the left, drop the right. its the same *****.

if you want to make money, take the under because manny will get stopped. i'm guessing its goin to be 9.5 or 10.5.

hey ben, it did take him 8 years to start using his right hand good-lol---floyd has used his left hand and has gotten more ko's and tko's with his left hand than manny has with his right----and manny's right hand is still suspect---people are fooled by it---floyd is a much better puncher overall in terms of throwing sharp shots, not wild shots, which is why he can catch people in between their shots---manny will experience this first hand, like everybody else---i agree with you bennett---
