Wow, no wonder the British fans are so full of excuses. They're media is absolutely ludicrous, I can't believe that they're having an interview talking about a referee being the reason for a fighter losing a fight.

That's a ridiculous interview. Hatton has always taken a ton of punishment from lesser fighters, and he gets smoked by the best in the world, and it's because the ref was one sided toward Floyd?

Joe Cortez is a great ref and a personal friend on mine.

He's also a great human being, doing a lot for the sport of boxing and going through some incredibly tough times with his family regarding cancer.

You're missing the whole point, Hatton could have brought in a machine gun and he would still lose to Floyd, the guy is garbage. He really didn't even deserve to be in the ring with Floyd... not sure who to blame on that though.

Cortez did an excellect job in the May/Fatton fight. Fatton was all the way turned up, he was over doing it man.How you swing for the back of someones head when half their body is hanging thru the ropes? Cortez was even giving Floyd warnings for rough stuff so you neither or Fatton have a gripe here.

British fans still butt-hurt over a fight from almost three years ago. Cortez did a fine job in that fight. Ricky Hatton just got exposed. Get over it. For my money, I wish it had been Luis Collazo who'd done it earlier! He had Ricky on ***** street, and holding on for dear life! God, I wish he would have beaten Hatton! But the Floyd beatdown, and subsequent Pacquiao beatdown were good enough! Hatton is a disgrace of a boxer. Smoking cigaretttes, and drinking like a maniac DURING TRAINING? He deserved to get his ass handed to him.
