Khan said he wanted it but GBP shot the idea dead on impact. They don't want Khan to fight Bradley, Alexander, or Maidana. I don't get it really, I guess they are trying to use him as some future ODLH in PPV events or something.

This is a great move by Bradley beat Berto and get a Welterweight strap then he can call out the top names at WW.

I also think that people underestimate Bradley.

He is taking the direct route to Pac/May... and he believes he can get there.

            Good for him.

It's tough for Devon..... but if Tim moves on, then Alexander can go for whoever wins the fight for Bradley's vacant belt..... and try to rule 140 like he said he always wanted to do.

And if he get's there..... dont be surprised to see him looking forward, not backward's..... just like Bradley's doing now.

The people who called Bradley a coward don't know **** about boxing.
Very well said............Devon will soon realize that he might have to take the same route Bradley is doing, all GBP fighters are avoiding Devon just like they avoided Bradley...How long will Devon wait at 140 until one of GBP fighters step in the ring with him, it could be years before it actually happens..

I agree with you potna, but that just isn't Tim's train of thought. I think as far as Bradley is conserned; he is going to make his move on the WW division 1st, and try to establish him self there. Because everybody at 140 will be at 147 in a couple of years, so he's trying to get a head start on them in the division so that by the time they get to 147 HE will be the cash cow that everybody has to come to. Floyd and Manny are running 147 right now and will be looking to retire in the next 2-5 years, which if Timmy does'nt get a fight with them and they retire it would leave him king of the hill if he could dethrone Andre(highly unlikely to me, but it would be a good scrap).

So I think his move to WW is calculated(a bit premature, but calculated nonetheless). I mean looking at the landscape of WW it is a good time to move up, as the division is top heavy with two mega stars(May and Pac), a legit belt holder(Andre Berto,WBC champ), and two soft champs in Vyacheslav Senchenko(WBA) and Dejan Zavec(IBF). Bradley could take the WBA or the IBF before a fight with Berto or he could go straight for Berto's WBC. Either way WW is ripe for the pickings right now, and Bradley is making a move. But I promise you if Bradley beats Abregu, and stays at WW, Devon's going to chase him to WW, and then IT will get real hot in the WW division.

Even if he was fortunate enough to beat Andre(which I really don't think he can, I think Berto becomes the 1st to stop Timmy if they fight in the next year or so), the money at WW is Floyd and Manny, if Cotto decides to come back then you can add him to the mix as well. Floyd is going to be less likely to take a fight with Timmy because one there is NO money, and two because of the backlash he would get for accepting the match ie. Floyd's picking on a JWW, Blah, Blah, Blah. Timmy would have to do something dramatic in order for Floyd to look at him as a potential opponent, like brutally KO Andre, Pwill, and Margo all in a 12 month span, and all on HBO and HBO PPV. Other than that I think it is a loooooooong shot for Timmy to get Floyd. I think Devon would get a shot at Floyd before Timmy would TBH, that's how long of a shot I give Timmy at landing Floyd. Now with Manny on the other hand that's an even longer shot, but a more competative fight due to style match up(Floyd would COMPLETELY outbox Timmy, whereas Manny would slug it out with him and be surprised at how durable Timmy really is therefore making it a closer and more competative fight). Either way I wish Timmy luck.

duck-storm should clean out 140 lbs first. a fight against berto won't bring any more money than a fight against devon.

Hehe. Didn't I call this one a few days ago? But anyways, I'm all for this if it happens, but I prefer Maidana at this point. Maidana and Alexander are the only ones who want Timmy at 140, so he should knock off Maidana first and then choose from Devon and Berto later on. If he beats Berto, HBO will suck him off like they do to Berto, so this could mean a lot.

If they fight, I predict a 116-111 decision for Timmy if he can stay focused for 12 rounds, avoid those huge loaded up shots and beat him up on the inside. I think Bradley's movement will be too much for him like Quintana's was, and his ability to dodge punches will allow him to punish Berto inside and get out before he lands. I can also see Berto lunging in recklessly and getting caught by a right hand that drops him (Cosme Rivera and Quintana did it, and neither one has a right hand as powerful as Bradley's). Sure he isn't a huge puncher, but his right hand counter can drop anyone and Berto isn't exactly iron chinned lol

The only way Berto wins is if Bradley gasses out and gets caught by those huge loaded up punches too much, but he has decent stamina and he won't have to be as active as he was against Peterson because Berto can't box, so I think he'll holdup for 12 and win comfortably. If not, 11th round TKO for Berto.

I don't have problem if Bradley is going for Berto instead of Alexander or Khan!
An long as he wont fight a nobody after Abregu~~~

If he beats Berto,,, then he is very worthy opponent for The PacMan!!!
