Comments Thread For: Berto vs Bradley Title Bout Has Been Discussed, Says Diaz

WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (25-0, 11KOs) makes his welterweight debut on July 17 against the dangerous Carlos Abregu (29-0, 23KOs). If Bradley is able to get past Abregu, a possible fight with WBC champion Andre Berto (26-0, 20KOs) has been mentioned to him by promoter Gary Shaw. [Click Here To Read More]

Good fight no doubt but Bradley has unfinished business at 140.He needs to fight Khan and Alexander before he fights Berto.

This goes to show that Bradley really wants Mayweather or Pacquiao. I don't think he'll be able to land a fight against either, but I can't fault him for trying.

apart from the whole money negotiations with alexanders camp.....bradley shouldnt move up untill he fights either Alexander or Khan since they agreed to a 4 man tournament and bradley was wanting more money....besides bradleys best weight class would most likely be at Light Welterweight...if he moves up a class it would probably be more harder for him..

Khan's camp do not want Timmy Bradley or Devon Alexander.

or else Schaefer would not have turned down a 140 tourney

          but yes,

he should fight Chino Maidana and Devon before thinking bout facing Berto.

like everyone is saying, he has unfinished business at 140.

The guy needs cash.He knows a fight with Mayweather will give him more than $1m at the worst despite how much he gets outclassed. He will still earn a career high amount against Pacquiao and has a chance of winning

I don't think that people took Bradley seriously when he spoke of moving to 147..... and I think they also may have chosen to ignore the comments from his camp about him having trouble making 140.

I also think that people underestimate Bradley.

He is taking the direct route to Pac/May... and he believes he can get there.

                Good for him.

It's tough for Devon..... but if Tim moves on, then Alexander can go for whoever wins the fight for Bradley's vacant belt..... and try to rule 140 like he said he always wanted to do.

And if he get's there..... dont be surprised to see him looking forward, not backward's..... just like Bradley's doing now.

The people who called Bradley a coward don't know **** about boxing.
