sure there are fights for him at 140, but NOTHING can be said about him moving up to 147 to face the undefeated berto......u got to be kidding me.

These guys do this for a living. Why would they take a risk before they get paid first. Oh, you know they gonna all just retire and put good use to their bachelor's degrees. Come on. The fights will happen, but these guys need to feed their families too and they have shorter careers than most.

Bradley vs Berto?? Uhh I would have to give this to Berto in 10. Bradly will give Berto hell for the first several rounds but Bertos power will nuetralize Bradley if and thats and if he can connect to the body in the early rounds. If not then will go the distance and be a close fight.

I agree with you potna, but that just isn't Tim's train of thought. I think as far as Bradley is conserned; he is going to make his move on the WW division 1st, and try to establish him self there. Because everybody at 140 will be at 147 in a couple of years, so he's trying to get a head start on them in the division so that by the time they get to 147 HE will be the cash cow that everybody has to come to. Floyd and Manny are running 147 right now and will be looking to retire in the next 2-5 years, which if Timmy does'nt get a fight with them and they retire it would leave him king of the hill if he could dethrone Andre(highly unlikely to me, but it would be a good scrap).

So I think his move to WW is calculated(a bit premature, but calculated nonetheless). I mean looking at the landscape of WW it is a good time to move up, as the division is top heavy with two mega stars(May and Pac), a legit belt holder(Andre Berto,WBC champ), and two soft champs in Vyacheslav Senchenko(WBA) and Dejan Zavec(IBF). Bradley could take the WBA or the IBF before a fight with Berto or he could go straight for Berto's WBC. Either way WW is ripe for the pickings right now, and Bradley is making a move. But I promise you if Bradley beats Abregu, and stays at WW, Devon's going to chase him to WW, and then IT will get real hot in the WW division.

Bradley would take a fight with either Pac or May, I am absolutely sure of that.

Marquez got $4.5 - 5 million for the Mayweather fight..... this talk of $1 mil is a little cheap. A fight with either of those guys will not just set Bradley up for life, it will set his kids up for life.

duck-storm should clean out 140 lbs first. a fight against berto won't bring any more money than a fight against devon.

He is after something close to the $4.5 million that Marquez got for fighting Mayweather..... not the $400k that he would get for fighting Devon.

Fighting Berto to get a shot at either Pac or May, which could earn him a multi-million dollar payday, rather than staying at 140 to fight Devon for $400k..... doesn't sound ***** to me ?

They're either Khan/Alexander nuthuggers, or just don't understand the state of boxing right now and that every decision counts at this point if someone is trying to become a big attraction.

And they act like Berto isn't capable of beating the crap of out Alexander and Khan. I thought every said Khan's chin is plastic? Then shouldn't Berto be able to crack it? And what ever happened to the Khan fans saying Devon has no defense? Then shouldn't Berto be able to tag him all night? If anything, Bradley should get props for taking such a dangerous fight.

That's what I was thinking when I clicked on this lick and then I read all this ***** comments WTF!!! This move up is more dangerous than staying at 140 IMO.... Also this Abregu guy is no joke, maybe people haven't seen him fight yet.

Good post, Bradley should get props for stepping up. It's not like he's lurking around 147 hoping to get lucky..... he is backing himself and looking to make his own luck.
