yeah but it took Mayweather over 8 years to do it...Manny moved up 4 in 2 years..BIG difference dont u think? again not saying this makes him guilty...but certainly we can see why people would question it right? its pretty obvious.

Gatti really? Every last single fight he had in the last 8 years was from 140-147..b4 that he was fighting at 130-135 for another 6 years...so wheres this big jump from 127 to 147 for 1 belt? or did u mean that 14year+ span? LOL

again people...The time it took may was 8yrs+ and gatti 14rs+...Pac? 2 years....so how can you say its not "Questionable" at the very least..shiiit..its as clear as glass after a hot summer day spent watching 2 bikini girls wash ur car..topless.
you're missing out on something...that pac fought during those two years (outside of the featherweight) at a fighting weight of low to mid 140's...so i dont see anything su****ious about that...fight nite weight for lightweight at low 140, fight nite weight for jr welterweight fight at low 140, 3 welterweight fights at low 140 to mid 140.

Yah sure, 4 different weight divisions in 2 yrs, but only gained a couple of fighting weight pounds, WOW, THATS SO SU****IOUS...floyd/conte and huggahs exaggerate reality and make it lies and deceit.

You are painting a picture to suit your argument.

Nobody is talking about draining themselves to make weight.

The conversation is clearly about jumping UP in weight from 130 to 147, and yet INCREASING your speed and power.

And bull**** again, that Manny's prime weight was always 140. Most pundits did not think that Manny was a true JWW, you are only saying that with the advantage of hindsight.

If Manny jumps to 154, you will say that his prime weight was 147.

The issue is the increase of 17 pounds of muscle within 18 months, which is very, very, uncommon......

That's nearly a pound of muscle per month in weight gain.....
DUDE..... you couldn't **** that much, let alone put it on.

its clearly you dont understand the whole situation...pac did not gain 17 lbs of muscle...that 17 lbs you are refering to is the jump in weight class, NOT MUSCLE WEIGHT...pacs fight nite weight outside of the featherweight all the way up to welterweight happens to be less than 5 lbs gained...from low 140's to under 145.

too many people are hung up on the max weight number of a division and not the actual fight nite weight.

          No way bro.....

Right now, Manny is 145-146 pounds of pure muscle.....
regardless of his rehydration weight, or walk-around weight.

          You cannot tell me.....

That Manny cut 11-14 pounds of muscle while training for Marquez.

Or that he cut 6-9 pounds of muscle while training for Diaz.

Or even that he cut 1-4 pounds of muscle while training for Hatton.

Or that he is not right now 145-146 lb's of pure muscle.

Rehydration weight, or "fight nite weight", is not what we are talking about.

The only time I ever heard that Manny was struggling to make weight was vs Marquez at 130, and I only heard that after the fight

Well..... if that was true, then Manny should have been fine at 135..... he certainly looked it against Diaz.

We are talking about the muscle-mass that Manny has gained since making the agreed weight for the Marquez fight on March 14th 2008..... the list I posted contained the official weights for all fights since then.

          • Well, your muscles are full of water, and manny isn't draining himself before weigh-ins anymore, so he's put on less than the difference at the weigh ins. He definitely put on muslce though, because he's visibly much bigger in the ring.
