I agree with you.
When FMJ came back from "retirement" and was preparing to fight JMM, reporters kept pestering Floyd about 'what do you think of Manny doing this' and 'what do you think of Manny doing that'? Floyds answer: "I done the same thing!!" There was no mention of steroids until after Floyd Sr. said something to the press after the Cotto fight. Now FMJs answer: "You don't go from being ordinary to being extraordinary."
Well, he isn't saying anything out-rageous. So, Conte may be on to something.
Even Floyd loss some power and speed after moving from super featherweight to welterweight.
Agree 100% not just Floyd, almost every boxer's punches apparently becomes weaker when they climbed up to a higher divisions. Last I witness is Edwin Valero.
pac is lean because he eats alot of rice and fish. no pork.
he also works out 6-7 hours a day when training, thats why hes all lean muscle like bruce lee and not roid muscle like mosley
This is true too..which is why i said its possible since he trains so hard/long...Bruce Lee was a freak of a athlete..dude was just out of this world..and Pac has admitted many times to being a devoted fan of his...from his training to eating habits...its very possible..

That is bs. you probably have never tried to make weight. Your saying a dehydrated weight drained fighter punches harder than a fighter at his prime weight? You trippin. I know for a fact that I am stronger and hit harder when I am not drained. Manny's prime weight was not 122 it is 140lb and he still packs a wallop at 147. It is mostly from unseen punches that come at weird angles than brute force of the punch. It is funny how dudes that really don't know try to make statements like this.
I'm sorry, but i cannot see the connection between my statement and your question. Perhaps you meant to reply to someone else's post?
Oh, and for the record, floyd jr. is ALSO turning down the fight with all the conditions offered to Manny in 2009. If those conditions were ok to floyd jr. then, why not now?
As for the purse split, at 50-50, neither of them will EVER find another opponent which could earn them more, even if they each got a 70-30 split. Other than Manny or Floyd jr., who else could possibly match their ppv?
Thats choosing to be pretty selective about how you see things. You have a little bit of a dishonest viewpoint in my opinion.
You say.....
" If those conditions were ok to floyd jr. then, why not now? "
Well, if the 14-day is suitable for Manny now, why didn't he accept it the first time?
And your argument about the fight being the most money available to either fighter.... that is not how business works..... and it is not how the business of boxing works..... Floyd should be paid what he is worth, as should Manny.
If I were to use the same one-sided approach that you have, then I would say this.....
" Floyd is the bigger draw, and the best fighter at 147..... because I am not sure how Manny will go at 147, we have only seen him against Clottey "
every people are different! there are some guiness book holder that did thing impposible and there some looser, this page are bias.. accept to your mind that floyd is coward!!

Its not BS in the context the poster said it , Mannys prime weight was not 140 while he was fighting at 122 , guys that are fighting at their best weight with there lowest body fat without there body eating into muscle and then go up and fight bigger guys who are at their prime weight , then the smaller guy will loose power against them ,,,,,, the thing with Manny is not just the going up in weight , it was the speed of the improvement in power and muscle mass over the last 2 yrs , just like the Chinese swimmers that have never been a swimming superpower broke records overnight ,,, Manny is suspect no two ways about it , not saying he is guilty but definitely Floyd is justified on asking for more advanced testing .
The male nurses aides need to make up their minds. First, they laud what Pac did (106 ==> 147) as one-of-a-kind. Then, when people say the weight climb is su****ious, their response is that Floyd had the same accomplishment.
Conte said that what most people don’t understand is that steroids are more effective when tapering off in the system. “This is when you get the best results. This is when you are much more powerful from a performance standpoint.”
The key to lowering steroid use in boxing, in Conte’s estimation, is testing out of competition. “I don’t even think every boxing match needs steroid testing,” Conte said.
Basically saying Floyd could be on PEDS since he is amongst a few boxers who takes a long time out of competition. Plenty of time to juice up and then taper off to get ready for Olympic style drug testing lol.
If I had read Conte's statement 100 times, then 100 times backwards.....
I would still not have come to the same conclusion that you did.
Funny huh.....
people see what they wanna see, and they read what they wanna read.

Bull**** Alibata, he didn't say that.
You are painting a picture to suit your argument.
Nobody is talking about draining themselves to make weight.
The conversation is clearly about jumping UP in weight from 130 to 147, and yet INCREASING your speed and power.
And bull**** again, that Manny's prime weight was always 140. Most pundits did not think that Manny was a true JWW, you are only saying that with the advantage of hindsight.
If Manny jumps to 154, you will say that his prime weight was 147.
The issue is the increase of 17 pounds of muscle within 18 months, which is very, very, uncommon......
That's nearly a pound of muscle per month in weight gain.....
DUDE..... you couldn't **** that much, let alone put it on.
