I can envision that happening actually. Similar to clinton woods.

90s RJJ had that untouchable glow around him, whoever he fought he was a class above them. Nigel was a beast but faced with prime RJJ he wouldn't get to hit Roy with those bombs of his. It would be a loss for Nigel the way I see it, but a fight I would love to have in my RJJ collection regardless.

          Eubank would've beaten Roy.

It's possible that the fight was difficult to make because of Benn's ties to Don King and Showtime. Jones was reluctant to work with King, and back then Showtime used to sign boxer to multi fight contracts. Almost all Showtime cards back then had King involved, similar to what Gary Shaw has going on with them now.

If I remember correctly Nigel didn't want none and I don't blame him he would've got that ass whooped.

Have you ever seen a Benn fight? He didn't give a damn about anybody's power.

yeah, i remember how good jones was back in the day but, i do recall a guy named lou devalle that caught roy and knocked him down and had him hurt and that was when he had that certain glow around him... and lou couldn,t hit no where near close to what benn could... i,m beginning to think roy never really had a chin...

Roy took a clean hook from James Toney and didn't lay down... he had a pretty decent chin
