Hes a below par boxer. His skills don't match up with his physical gifts.

Because he has such a great workrate, height, chin it lets him get away with all kinds of mistakes.

He has good speed, decent power but when you look at his actual boxing ability when has Williams ever outbox a top level opponent? He outhustles them and outfights them, his jab is a flicking one and doesn't do anything (kind of like Mosley's)

If it wasn't for his physical gifts he'd have lost alot more fights and they look as if they will fade quickly unless he sharpens up his defense.

The guy gets hailed for boxing skills he don't have, or that are least not as good as people think. His technique is basic. It's his volume, speed, and stamina that make him dangerous. He's no technical wizard. His biggest win is Margarito, and he outworked him more so than outboxed him. I'm a fan of Williams and he ain't mediocre, he just ain't all he's cracked up to be.

          Hes a winner.

Eveyone doesnt have to fight like Mayweather to be considered good.

He's a good fighter, not really a good boxer.

He could make fights so much easier for himself.

He could sit back and jab but that would take away who he is. Hes the Punisher. At 28 I wouldnt mess with anything. He has to put pressure on people to win fights. He has insane stamina and workrate and it overwhelms people. He even had Martinez on the mat crawling around from exhaustion. He sets a pace that few fighters can keep.
