I agree... waaaay too over-rated.. Great stamina.. Great workrate.. Garuntee that if he tries to drain himself for his next fight to 147 he's gonna lose agiants top fighters in the division...

Martinez only said that because he's got higher standards for himself than beating Paul Williams 8-4 like he did.

In his mind, he should k.o an average fighter like Williams. Don't mistake his humility and class for weakness. He knows he won that fight.

      As do we all.

Honestly, if it wasn't for Burner on here constantly hyping the guy all the time, I doubt we'd ever really talk about him.

Paul Williams needs to send Burner some sort of check for keeping him relevant.

              exactly

              Martinez is humble, unlike Williams.

Paul Williams has a extreme work-rate, decent power and moderate boxing skills.

People talk about his height like there are height divisions or something.

On any given nights hes capable of beating anybody between 147-160.

Being a southpaw doesn't hurt ether.

He almost never in a boring fight.

                Hes not an ATG yet.

But if managed correctly he can be a HOF no doubt.

He needs big fights and he needs to stay active.

I"m sorry he doesn't look unbeatable in every fight.

Many ATG's have ruff fights and off nights.

                So why all the hate?

I wouldn't not compare his fan base to most Pac and Floyd fans.

I think most fans are realistic about what hes capable of.

All I see are Sweat Pea vs Floyd and Manny vs Duran threads.

I haven't seen any PW vs Hearns or Hagler threads.

                That is all...

Every major columnist and a large majority of boxing fans believe that fight could have gone ether way.

You hate on PW so you see what you wanna see.

Honestly Kermit could knock-out anybody at 147 what your point?

Don't pretend like you have a crystal ball or something.

Kermit starting fast is nothing new.

He was pretty good against Margo ior the first three rounds as well.

He landed tons of flush shots.

He started fast against Angulo and almost fell apart late.

                      I don't assume anything.

It makes you look like a jacka$$.
