I really hope this comes through, I would wish Miguel the best and hope he gets his redemption to rid himself of that ghost that must be in the back of his head at all times.

I think Steward would bring a good game plan for that fight. He was picking apart a lot of things Cotto did wrong in that fight while he was commentating. To his credit as well, he did say Margarito had a better chance than people were giving him.

I got a feeling Margarito may take the same amount of punishment as the 1st fight, but I believe this time around they'll have more of an effect on him considering the punishment he took from Cotto and Mosley (which IMO did him in).

          I hope they sign it.
Well said, I feel the same way. Cotto has been in some tough fights before Margarito against Mosley and Judah, but its nothing compared to Marg. Marg has been getting hit like that his entire career, and the last few years were not against powder puff hitters. Williams, Cintron, Cotto and Mosley, and those were all in order no less, once the Mosley KO came he'll never be the same. Its like Tyson once the aura of invincibility left there wasn't much else there, Marg I feel is the same way.

Anyway I look at it, I see it a bad match up for Berto.
I agree completely again. Cotto fights well on the inside, but Berto lunge in punches would be stopped with Cotto's jab. If he does hold Cotto fights well on the inside, but most of all Berto has no lateral movement. If he gets pressed he simply goes straight back, Cotto could jab him into the corner all night and have his way easy. I see absolutely NO WAY that Cotto could lose to Berto, its a step down from Marg IMO.

Cotto still may be, but Mexicans are more afraid that if Marg loses it will add even more belief that he used in the first fight. Without Cotto on his list the best win Marg has is who... Cintron? And really... about that guy?

Thats one good way of putting it.

But then, you have to think about the psychological aspect.

What happens in Cottos mind during the first 4 rounds when Margarito is eating everything Miguel has just as in the first fight? Its going to be quite a mind ****. Then, it continues to the 5th, 6th, and 7th rounds and Tony still feels nothing coming.

Man, I'm hyped about this matchup more so than Pac-Floyd. There are so many different angles to go through when discussing this rematch.

                      Can't wait.
