And before the usual suspects show up and call me a hater, if Vitali would fight some of these guys and beat them, I'd give him his due. If he looked good doing so, I might even root for the guy. I just resent how people act like it should be assumed that he's the best heavyweight, even though Byrd and Ruiz have beaten better fighters.

50-50, 60-40 - it's about pride rather than brains. Klitschko will make more at 50% of the Toney purse than 60% or possibly more vs. Maskaev or McBride

Excellent post all the way through.

In the end, you bring up the key point the Vitali fanclub don't seem to understand.

IF he fights Toney at 60-40, that 60% would be MILLIONS more than a 75-25 split agaisnt some clown like Maskiev or a green fighter like Brock.

The Toney fight would be a big PPV, and a big purse.

There is no doubt Goosen's comments are to get a reaction out of Finkle and Vitali to try and hype this fight.

The bottom line is that RIGHT NOW Vitali doesn't have a fight signed, and there is a BIG MONEY fight (where he gets the bigger purse) and a HIGH PROFILE opponent ready and waiting for him.

...Somehow, Vitali needs to fight Toney IMO. I think this fight will happen and all of this talk may be pure hype for when it does. A fight with Toney would bring excitement and legitimacy to Vit's claim as the best, and at the same time he could shut Toney's mouth for good and we would no loger have to see that tub of **** in the ring.

Would not Rahman-Vitaliy be a bigger draw?

I think Vitaliy should fight either Rahman or Toney.

          could you give source, pls?

Hey Bozo, here is a question:

what does Bozo_no_no mean? Is this a slang expression?

I don't think so no. I think Toney's a bigger draw, and plus Rahman already lost to Ruiz.

But Rahman won't be available for the Sept 24th date Vitali's so adament about fighting on, so that's a moot point.

              Do a search for yourself.

It was on **********, and was a Goosen Interview, followed by a Finkle interview.

I read it as did others here. If you don't believe it and want to search for yourself, go right ahead.

Both interviews were pasted in threads in this forum, so if you wanted to, you could also scroll back in the thread history.

It was something Jay Nadey barked out at Mayorga I think. He was holding and hitting or something and Nadey said:

"No no no no. That's a BIG Bozo no no".

Didn't Rahamn say that he really wanted the Sept 28?

OK. Whatever Rahamn wanted, Vitaliy should fight Toney or Rahman, then Rahman or Toney, then Brewster or Byrd.

                      1. Rahman may not beat Barrett

                      2. If he does, it's doubtfull he'll be ready for the 24th of Sept.

                      3. Rahman lost clearly to Ruiz, Toney was out of shape and on a month's notice beat Ruiz
