Dan Goosen is Disgusting ! Vitaliy should kick his ass.

Vitaliy offered 60-40 split to James Toney.

Toney and Goosen refused and demanded 50-50 ... and this is after Toney had been caught using steroids! Toney is not even a belt holder right now, why should he be offered equal split?

What is worse is that Dan Goosen is now coming back and accusing Vitaliy of being a coward. Goosen is just really DISGUSTING.

Vitali should reduce his offer to Toney further to 80-20 as a response to this trash-talking.

Why did NOT Goosen/Toney take the 60-40 offer ???!!!!!!!!!!!

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the initial offer was 65/35. Toney's camp said that Toney is alot more marketable than Vitali, therefore they wanted a 50/50. After Vitali refused and announced that he will fight Maskaev, Toney's camp came back with a 60/40 counter offer.

Toney would be the bigger draw if those two fought.

Vitali needs to decide what he values more - an equitable split or credibility. A Top 10 opponent would be a good start...

From Toney's perspective, 50% is fair market value for getting his ass kicked and losing some stature.

Vitlai's the title holder and has more to lose. 60-40 a pretty good offer.

Looks to me like it's Toney that doesn't really want to fight

Every opponent Vitaliy has fought after LL was a top 10 ranked fighter at the moment of the fight.

I can't blame him for negotiating, but Goosen sucks for calling Vitaliy a coward.

I can't believe anyone had Danny Williams ranked in the Top 10. You mean the WBC did or Ring Magazine or who? Obviously Sanders was ranked high as he got the interim shot...

Right now, there are 20 different fighters ranked in the Top 10 by the big 4. The game being played seems to be "Who can I fight that will get approved but poses the minimum risk?"

I find it su****ious that Maskaev is ranked in the Top 10 by only the organization that Vitali holds their belt and Lyakhovich is in the Top 10 by only the organization that Byrd holds their belt.

There will never be a dominant champion, no matter what The Ring says or HBO. If Klitschko fights anyone besides Rahman, Brewster, Byrd, Ruiz or Toney next, he's not trying to legitimize his status as one of the heavyweight elite. He doesn't want to mess with King? Fine - but he should fight Toney...

I hope the people defending Vitali for stalling on this fight because of money issues aren't the same people that have harped on Hopkins and Roy Jones for not taking on certain opponents in the past regardless of the money issues they were having...all I gotta say here.
