****** roadblocks? The fight didnt happen the first time because of the 14-day cutoff that Mayweather would not budge on. Now, Pac is saying he is willing to accept the 14-day cutoff. Are you saying that the fight didn't happen the first time because of Pac's "****** roadblocks"?

My reason for not accepting the 14 day cutoff before is that he probably thinks or someone on his camp said that he'll probably be not prepared to fight Floyd since he was also getting busy preparing for campaigns and all that election stuff. Now that he won the congressional seat he has an ample time to prepare for the fight before the congress session starts.Have you or any of the other Pacquaio fans/Floyd haters on this site ever stopped and honestly asked yourselves why Pac changed his mind about the 14-day cutoff for the drug test? I know some of his more delusional fans have convinced themselves that Pac is a good guy who just wants to make the fight. Anyone with any sense knows that Pac realized he made a huge financial mistake in turning the fight down before over the drug test after seeing that Mosley made more money as Mayweather's opponent than Pac did as the primary in the Clottey fight. Now that he realizes it, he wants the money. That is the only reason he said he would agree to the 14-day cutoff.
You and others try to make it sound like Pac is a straightforward, fair, honest, upstanding person. That is total bull****. He is no different than Floyd and everything that has come out of his mouth lately is total bull**** that everyone of his fans have swallowed hook, line and sinker. He wants money. Unfortunately, his ego may keep him from making more money in one fight than he has made in all of his other fights combined.
Ego would play a big factor too especially that during that time most of the boxing experts puts the blame on Floyd and some experts thinks highly of Pac.Comment

manny is just scared go head and fight cotto and loose than he will mayweather is going to oofer a 70/30 oe even a 80/20 splitComment

Floyd made as much money fighting Mosley as Pac has made in his last four fights, including the De La Hoya fight. He made $40 million against a guy who doesn't fight on PPV because he can't draw flies to his fights. With that kind of earning potential, how is Floyd pricing himself out of the fight? He could fight Matthew Hatton or Saul Alvarez in his next fight and make twice as much as Pac makes against Margarito, Cotto or Marquez. So please tell us how Floyd could price himself out of the fight?Comment

Like i said, weve just heard people talking **** in the media, but the actual guys that are trying to make the fight(other then Arum) seem like their trying to make the fight behind closed doors. If this fight does get made, i'm sure we wont hear about it this soon.Exactly. That's what i've been saying all along. If they both want it, they both have to lose and gain something. If Manny want a 14 days cutoff, he must agree to a lesser split. If Floyd want a bigger split, he/USADA must agree to Manny's 14 days. Both have to give in, but apparently that's not gonna happen. Both of them are egotistical divas.
If it doesn't it would be because both Mayweather and Pacquiao let they put their egos before their love of money, or legacy, or however you want to ****ing put it. In the end, the true boxing fans will lose.Comment

the drug test is really a roadblock to the fight and now the purse agreement is adding up. I mean that OST demand is all facade and it's not even credible. Experts have always reiterated that a year round testing is the only way or guarantee that you can catch a cheater. I mean PEDs is not like a Popeye's spinach that if you take it just weeks away from the event you'll get a tremendous boost on performance.****** roadblocks? this is floyds last chance to get his highest payday and to secure his status as the atg, if he let this one then it's up to him.Floyd should try and get the best deal possible, doing anything less is not being smart. Manny should also but that is what negotiations are about lay out your arguements and figure out a deal.
Saying I won't is not making the fight happean. No matter what side says itComment

Great post. But you know they'll flip flop and act like Floyd never said any of these things.so let me ask
back in Feb 2010 when Floyd told the Grand Rapids Press
"I gave him a chance, up to 14 daysout. But my new terms are all the way up to the fight. They can comeget us whenever, all the way up to the fight, random drug test. That’s what it is,” Mayweather said.
did that not precede EVERYTHING Manny agreed to recently?
in other words what I want you to answer.
How can you accept an offer that Floyd took off the table in Feb?
here is the entire article.
http://www.mlive.com/mayweather/inde...l_wonders.html
and again from the same article dated Feb 2010
And if, as expected, Mayweather-Mosley greatly outperforms Pacquiao-Clottey, 50-50 is history.
“Insteadof 20 or 25 (million dollars), he may have to drop to 15, or 17,”Mayweather said. “And you know me, they may have to throw that extrafive or 10 on mine, and we can rock and roll. Take it or leave it.”
so again I ask how can you now state 50/50 is your idea of Manny compromising when Mayweather openly stated that this offer, provided he greatly out does Pacquiao Clottey, is off the table?
simple explanation please without the whole "OMG you *****s are ridiculous you follow every word he says you dont want this fight"
bring actual knowledge not name calling please.
what changed?
lots
for one he did double what Manny's last PPV did. Yes I understand Clottey is nowhere near the popular fighter Shane is. However, the numbers do not lie and Mayweather has shown 1. consistency in drawing people to watch his fights 2. that with like opponents Mayweather has drawn more fans to view.
for another while previously when this OST debate came up people were saying that why should we trust something that has never been done before or that the commissions should be in charge we actually now have one full high profile fight where OST seemingly worked
that my friends is indeed change but to me, Manny fans only go by what Manny says as gospel when in fact Mayweather CLEARLY stated otherwise at least 3 months prior
again how do you compromise on an offer that was rescinded back in Feb?
no a Bradley win is a stellar win no matter how you slice it for either Manny or Mayweather
why? seems simple to me
Mayweather made the concessions the first go round to try and make the fight happen
Manny said no for whatever reason.
okay fine
why should Mayweather now go back to the end point of the first one? Considering the landscape indeed changed?Comment
