And what do you hear from Floyd, that he is taking 1-2 yrs off.

And we should just shrug that off our shoulders because he didn't mean it.

I have to ask this but what concession did he make the first go around. Who exactly did his side lay the blame at the feet of? Who had more success this year?

These are all questions that lead into what Floyd wants to do right now.


If Floyd was taking time off it would be know he would have had a teary eyed press conference, if this fight falls through he might take time off or he might be pissed and fight someone good.

You haven't made any good arguements and I really have no issue with Manny wanting to get the best possible deal but if he isn't going to play ball that impedes progress.

Different thread, same story, people trying to justify PBF is right is asking for a bigger piece even if they don't benefit from it. Although it may be a bit absurd (number wise), Pacquiao's overweight penalty has at least has a valid reasoning behind it unlike the OSDT demands. PBF failed to make weight in his previous fight and it clearly gave him an extra advantage (even though he didn't need it) against JMM. If I were in Pacquiao's shoes I too would be weary of him (PBF) not making weight with his recent actions. There was absolutely no reason as to why PBF couldn't come down an extra 2 lbs given the extra time they had with the fight being pushed back. So the only reasonable assumption would be that he wasn't planning to make weight in the first place.

On the other hand what grounds does PBF have to demand OSDT against Pacquiao? Because his father thinks he's on roids?
