I am pretty sure Floyd didn't mean that as nothing has come up since, if this fight falls through he may take time off though.


It falls on both sides to make the fight, if one side says they won't budge that is not really the attitude needed to settle hard negotiations.

Positions change Manny should have done it back then if that offer was good to him. His fault I don't feel sorry for him.


Whatever position a side takes is fine but to be unwilling to move off a position makes things harder.

Everything that the Mayweathers are saying are all cowardly talks. Freddie Roach last time offered a winner take all and and Floyd seemed shock and was'nt able to say back a word. IF FLOYD MAYWEATHER Jr. REALLY GOT THE BALLS TO FIGHT MANNY PACQUIAO...the Mayweathers should take the offer. Papa duck has been saying too much non-sense and talks like his son can really beat the Pacman. If that is the case, then fight Manny. No further talking needed.

c'mon now.....the man clearly has no leg to stand on in demanding 50%, it's just unwarranted greed from a fighter who supposedly doesn't fight for money. He should counter with 48%, then if that doesn't work go down to 45% if he feels so strongly, but being adamant about 50% when not being in a bargaining position to do so shows extreme naivety to the circumstances or it is an indication he does not want this fight.

hey dan, i dont believe you. why dont you post a site where you can find that "statement" made by roach. it just dont make any kind of business sense. roach is no dummy he knows there is a very special fighter they will be facing. to make a winner take all type of offer will NEVER happen. bob arum will always make money even if his fighter gets screwed. so big bob will never negotiate such a ludacris offer. prove your statement. show cause. i dont think you can. also roach is not even involved in the financials of his fighter. arum is and we all know arum would never make such a offer. no one would. one punch or two can end anybodies night. and to work so hard and get nothing! The Pac camp is so sickening with all the nonsense comments. There is no official report that Floyd wants 60/40 and the last thing I heard the 14 day cutoff was off the table.

If you ask me the Pac camp is the one trying to control every facet of the negotiation by crying to the media. From the beggining they said that Floyd was going to be difficult to deal with. Floyd did accept the 10 million dollars per pound over the weight limit, gloves, etc and pulled out cause of the drug test.

Now they are accepting the drug test but they are making it sound like all the resistance is comming from the Floyd camp which I haven't seen no official report or anyone of them commenting on the negotiation. If anything Floyd gave mentioned that the biggest fight in history was going to get maid on MTV. It looks like the Manny camp doesn't want the fight

hey toby, didnt they say the main reason the first fight didnt happen was due to people speaking out of turn in the media? and this time around BOTH camps agreed to a media gag order? so much for the gag order. the mayweather camp is running a very tight ship. you dont see any comments from seconds or anybody from floyds camp. now why cant team pac honor the gag order insted of tainting the public with these useless sound bites?

He can't prove that because it was NEVER SAID! Why would a dude bitching about 50/50 agree to winner take all when he doesn't even intend to fight Floyd to begin with. If Manny really thought he could win he would say ok Floyd, you are the bigger draw. I'll take 60/40 and submit to testing but I want 60/40 in the rematch clause if I win.

We know the reason MrJ. It's because Team pac doesn't want this fight! It's clear as day.
