I wouldn't expect you to know what I meant anyway cause chances are you've never stepped foot in a ring.
This entire thread is about the fact that Froch said the fight was so boring it was like watching paint dry. You said: "The same people who say it's boring have probably never boxed in their lives." That therefore means by definition that you don't think Froch has ever boxed in his life.

I suggest you learn to read before you post here again.

Boxing fans are fickle ... after the Taylor fight, everyone was picking AA to win the Super Six ... now they are all riding Ward's **** ... we'll see. AA has the power to take anyone out. And I really thought he was coming back to KO Dirrell before the "actor" took the easy way out. Dirrell was in trouble and wanted out of that fight.

I agree that most of us are fickle. Rather than abandoning AA as the favorite, I think what most did was to pick AA before all contestants had a chance to show off what they bring to the Super Six table. While I think Dirrell was doing quite a bit of acting, I also think that if that same punch would have landed while he was on two feet, it probably would have put him down. Down for the count? Who knows. We as fans can, and should, call it a dodgy move. However, I can almost promise that everyone who is anyone (trainer, promoter, corner men, anyone involved in signing Dirrell's checks) all told him he made the right decision. Legitimate or illegitimate, a win is a win, and he was the man to hand AA his first loss and did it in fine fashion up until the last 30 seconds of the fight. I'm a huge AA fan but I'm a bigger fan of boxing in general and it was entertaining to finally see someone just be TOO MUCH for AA.

Disect it any which way you want, argue about Ward's abilities til the cows come home if you like...

..by god damn that was a boring ass fight to watch.

Quite easily the most forgettable of the competition so far.

Ward is boring outside the ring, but good grief he is even worse inside it.

And why has he had all his fights at home? sorry he leaves me cold.

As a fighter, Froch is overrated, especially his wins.

As a man, I hate him also, mainly because he kept begging a fight with Calzaghe and bad mouths him to this day by callign him a duck.

However on this point, Froch is right.

I'm a Ward fan, he's gonna win it, I put 200k on that Ward will win the tourney, but there's something about it that doesn;t spark with him sometimes.

Froch may be slow and very heavy footed, but he does create some excitement.

Oh I see Froch has gotten better from the trauma he suffered from the Kessler ass whoopin. Froch is a b1tch and clearly got a gift in the Dirrell fight. He shouldn't have any points imo.

Froch is beltless no one cares what he has to say. No one cared when he had the belt what he said. I would worry if I were Froch how I was going to beat Queen Arthur who is also beltless. Big mouth little talent no one cares Nottingham man.

I guess Froch hasn't watched his last two fights, even the Kessler "scrap" was a bit boring.

it was like watching a BOXING match... its not a street fight, its called boxing, it is an art that requires technique and skills not wild aggressiveness, if people wanna see grown men swingin at each other like theres no tomorrow, watch UFC or buy "bumfights" on dvd.. if you tune in to watch BOXING , thats what you'l get. . froch thinks throwing wild blows and having zero footwork will win him many fights, i felt he lost to dirrell on points and ward will outpoint him also.
i didnt think the fight was boring at all, just one boxer (ward) on top of his game displaying his skills.
