I think Ward did badly. He didnt fight like a champion.
he was comming in like a goat all the time, trying to head****. Even though Green ******, I am very dissapointed over Ward. The reason for the holding was that he was scared.

I see this fight even but I know Ward will be the heavy favorite and I'm sure Dirrell see's that also but Dirrell is a smart student of the game as you seen on Fight Camp 360 where he pointed out the reason why Taylor lost to AA and how he would use the same stradegy but better and BOOM looked what happened when he went up against AA... Dirrrell is getting better just give him time

I think that Dirrell has more of a chance of beating Ward than anyone else in the tourney. He hits harder, faster, and uses strange angles effectively even when moving backwards. Technically he should be tied with Ward in the points category.

Dirrell will win a split decision in the best fight of the tournament.

              dirrel vs ward

not only does he needs to get off first dirrel has to make sure to keep the distance like he did with froch and abraham. if he let's ward smother and bully him it's a wrap. ward will win easily

I think he'll more than get to him i think
he will find it easy to hit & move on ward.
Guys who move in like that get there neck snapped.
And spun on all night ward better grow a double jab
quickly or its easy picking for dirrel.probly buy dq
                when ward gets frustrated.

I can't wait to see what gameplan Ward has for keeping his belt against Dirrell. Will we see yet another completely different facet to his game that he hasn't shown us yet?

                    That's a good point.

Ward is the soul-taker of boxing, and I don't think that he's shown us everything inside his little bag of tricks just yet

He adapts to your strengths, works out how to get to you..... then punches the life out of you.

IMO, both Kessler and Green are probably STILL good fighters..... Ward just made them look ordinary when he ****** out a piece of their soul It'll be real interesting to see how those two get on.

People are talking up Dirrell for this fight, as they should be, he is a class act..... but Ward is not gonna let him settle into this fight.

Maybe he will use a similar approach to the Green fight, where he will look to tie him up, push him around, and get off in close..... to nullify Dirrell's jab and speed.

And yes..... I think Dirrell can expect a couple of elbows, and he can expect to have his nose jammed up against his friend's forehead at some stage of the fight

When he's at mid-long range expect Ward to switch, again so Dirrell cant get into a rhythm, and to offset his jab and speed.

I think that Ward will take it to Dirrell. He will look to close him up and not let him settle into the fight.

                    I can't wait.

I hope that I don't hear too many people suggesting that Andre Dirrell was over-rated.

I doubt it, because if I am right..... by that stage there will be a small trail of fallen fighters lying behind Andre Ward..... alllll still wondering what happened, and all wondering where that little piece of their soul went

While Ward tries and chases down Dirrell, Dirrell will be popping his head back taking the rounds.
