You gotta be kidding me. Jones took punches until he couldn't take them anymore. In the sport of boxing, quitting is the ultimate disgrace to a warrior. Typical Tyson blinders from an average joe sports fan.

I gotta agree with the sentiment that Tyson had the power punching talent while Jones possessed the greater athletic ability.

Tyson had great physical talent while Jones had great athletic talent.

The sport is called boxing, you get knocked out, its part of the sport. That doesnt take away your pride. Trinidad could have very easily quit againest Hopkins and Winky after gettin shelled but he didnt that shows his character. Jones being knocked out doesnt make him a *****, quiting on your stool like Mike Tyson did makes you look like what you would call a "*****"

Mike Tyson is probably the most well trained and talented athlete ever, he was just to ****** and had no reason to use it in his prime, and as of late has forgotten it all...

roy could have quit against johnson but he ****** it up like a real fighter does and took the loss like a man....

tyson quit on his stool and didnt attempt fighting mcbride, thats heartless.....

and roy wasnt beaten in his prime like iron mike was and roy has beaten all the great fighter he has faced; the same cant be said about tyson who never beat a great.

both were skilled but in all honesty mike doesnt deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as jones, holyfield, lewis, dlh, hopkins or toney, he was great for a short time and like teddy atlas said he was just a "flash in the pan"
