the fight was definitely boring at times.. esp the first few rounds.. i understood his gameplan, but i dont think he can keep up that style and have alot of fans..

he won, very, very clearly and does have brilliant boxing skills, however, last nights fight was a cuddling bore fest. A man with an Olympic gold medal, a world title and leading the super six, NEEDS to perform with a far more entertaining, natural boxing style. You knew how this fight would turn out after the second round. Awful fight.

Yes, it was. Ward set the tempo of the fight, by going the B-Hop route.

Ward clutched on to Green's left arm like a woman with her Gucc* purse and punched with his left. That's not skill to me, that's a cheap tactic and an illegal one at that. Green doing the same in the later rounds didn't make it any better.

But, the major blame goes to the ref, he allowed the fight to go that way.

I saw Green doing a lot of the holding. But, lets say that you're right and it was Ward. Was Ward clutching Green with both hands?

I seriously doubted since I saw Ward poppin Green with his free hand. So then what was Green doing with his free hand? How come he wasn't poppin back?

You're right in one respect, the moments that Green had to let his hands go, he didn't. But, Ward fighting the way he did from the very beginning to end was inexcusable, it's f**kin' illegal !!

The impression that Ward and his coach gave me was to fight dirty from the onset, that was the f**kin' plan to take away Green's left hook, it worked, but it's illegal and the ref is to blame as well.
