How Is the Way WARD fights inside In ANY way LEGAL???

Why is Ward being killedfor this? Floyd does a lot of holding on the inside and the way he uses his forearms and elbows to push off he never gets warned. I'm not necessarily taking a shot at Floyd eventhough it seems I am. I am just saying people shouldn't kill Ward for this and not recognize Floyd for some of the things he does, with the exception of his head.

You CAN put your head on the chest under the chin. What makes it illegal is if you bounce up and down and use your head as another weapon(battering ram)other than your gloved fists. Ward did none of that henceforth why Caiz Sr. didn't warn him.

Funny bruh. I dont ever recall having a conversation with you for you to come to that conclusion. I didn't find anything wrong with Hatton being a mauling brawler. It was a style that worked well for him until he met Floyd. I accept all styles of Boxing. Before you slap my qoutes in your post and comment using some bull**** speculation that you've concocted in while in Benny's world, holla at me and hold a conversation with me to find out what I think of certain Boxers and styles.

To everyone else: I'm not saying it's illegal or anything. It just sucks to watch. If he wins with it, good on him. I'd sure as hell do it. Doesn't stop it from being an absolute bore and ****ing tragic for fans. Hatton was bad enough but Ward takes it to a whole new level.

Still, you gotta find it interesting that in fight refs will allow two guys to hold and hit, wrestle and maul and then in another, which happens to be a major fighter from Engerlund, he breaks them as they touch, not after a few seconds of inside stuff but right as they touch. Bizarre.

it is ways you can stop someone from Clinching you and no it is not illegal especially when you are the one dishing out the punishment, it becomes illegal when you are getting pounded when you grab and hold on and don't want to let go, when the Ref said "get you hands out" Ward did exactly that, a lot of it was not even Clinching, Ward just did a good job penning him against the ropes and Green sure didn't do much to stop it

Hopkins been using that style for YEARS, it is the way they use it which allows them to get away with it because they are not GRABBING AND HOLDING ON, they control your position, release, move their head around and gain position again

a lot of guys just don't understand WTF they are watching so they ***** and complain about it because they want to just see two unskilled sluggers stand in the middle of the ring and throw wild punches until someone goes down, sure that is entertaining but if it different styles of boxing other then just that

not at all about that. but everyone is complaining about something that didnt happen. if u can throw a punch, it isnt clinching. its bully fighting. its a different style. ward used it brilliantly, but ppl are complaining because its illegal???its been used in boxing for centuries!

But what Ward was doing was holding onto Greens left arm and hitting him with his right (or vice versa). THAT has got to be illegal

What he was doing was latching onto Green first to make Green start holding on to him, then he put his arm under Green's armpit so that Green's arm is neutralized and he went to work, that isn't really illegal, just very smart in fighting. He did the same thing to Kessler.

And Green wasn't complaining about that, he knew that it was legal, his corner never complained about it, they knew it was legal. It's in the rules, if you have a hand free you're allowed to work on the inside.

If Ward was holding Green's head down or something like that and hitting him, then it's illegal.

I must admit, it is very funny now now to hear fans that would have shat on Hatton for any form of clinching, even though it never got anything like that bad, and yet it is now the new best thing and they have always liked it.

they only had a problem with hatton because ricky wasnt black & american. if andre ward & dirrell was japanese & fought the same way, trust me these biased ass mofos wouldnt be nuthugging them.

Because he's never been in as ****eful a fight as this. Even Floyds worst fights have been twice as good as that rubbish.
