Why compare Clottey to Shane popularity?

You really think even in Cowboys stadium tickets for Floyd vs Pac great seats would be $250 dollars? You really think you can buy $35 dollars tickets for Floyd vs Pac? Maybe if they expand the seats to 100k that cheap seats would be 35k. However, ring side seats would be at the minimum a thousand dollars at least. Those prices wasn't there for Pac-Clottey. Ring sides were $700 bucks.

100K in Texas will make more at the gate than 17K @ MGM.....but not by much. You can't charge the same price in Texas. Take away a larger share in taxes and it get's closer and closer. $1,000 ringside sounds about right for this fight. What do you think ringside will be @ MGM??

When you take into consideration total money's generated for the municipaility Vegas will bring more.

You would have to calculate the price differential at different seating points vs the capacity. It's not inconceivable that 17.5-18K at MGM could generate just as much money as 100K in Texas depending on the price differential at all levels of seating.

Factor in a favourable tax environement, ********, accomodations + other Vegas activites and it does more for Vegas than it does for Dallas.

If ringside in Vegas = 4k vs 1K in texas it's a four to one ratio already in terms of revenue for the most expensive seats.
