If this report is true, then it's easy to see tat the fight will happen at vegas because Floyd will be at a disadvantage if the fight takes place in texas for obvious reason.

and look at them *****'s on defensive mode already, they are now twisting the story regarding the drug test protocol.

Why can't you *****'s just admit that Floyd ain't gonna fight in any states other than Nevada for obvious reason.............

I agree, from judging by what I could see on the HD broadcast at home, the atmos in the place looked pretty dead compared to the MGM.

Maybe if a prime Chavez or someone like that would have done it justice.

i made a thread about this awhile ago. Whilst i think holding it in Texas would be great for boxing overall, i think MGM and Vegas need to be rewarded for supporting boxing. Think about it, MGM and other casinos have been the home of boxing for a long time. They have supported the sport through the good times and recently the bad times, and just when the sport is picking up the stakeholders are going to move the biggest fight (maybe ever) outside of Vegas. It's tantamount to a slap in the face.

I think they should reward the loyalty Vegas has shown. Additionally a sell- out of 100K people arguably will not make more money at the gate in Dallas than 17K will at MGM. Vegas has some very wealthy residents. People in Vegas will pay 3-5K for ringside seats for this fight. You won't get people paying 3-5K for ringside in Dallas.

Additionally the fight will generate more money for Vegas than it will in Dallas. Think high rollers from everywhere ******** in casino's and staying in penthouses. I think this fight is a bigger money maker if it stays in Vegas.

Also judges in Vegas are better. Texas has had some bad decisions just recently.

i'm curious as to why team Pac is making an issue out of the venue. It is well know Floyd will not fight outside of Vegas. Additionally during the last rd of negotiations both sides agreed to Vegas as their preferred venue. Jerry Jones is likely putting up alot of money, but Vegas is the home of boxing.
