100K in Texas will make more at the gate than 17K @ MGM.....but not by much. You can't charge the same price in Texas. Take away a larger share in taxes and it get's closer and closer. $1,000 ringside sounds about right for this fight. What do you think ringside will be @ MGM??

When you take into consideration total money's generated for the municipaility Vegas will bring more.

F*k Veagas a fight of this magnitude should be held at the biggest and best venue, and it would only benefit both fighters in the sense they would both make more money, not to mention a megafight like this at that venue would be huge for boxing, and benefit all the fans at the fight.

How would the boxing community make more money in Vegas? Jerry Jones wants this fight badly and he would pay whatever to host it. He would outpay what the MGM would pay. I know why Floyd would want it there. But, Money and revenue wise Texas>Vegas. And, the whole all the big fights happen in Vegas? So... Those Casinos get stalled. Having a big fight with close to 100k fans in attendance? What atmosphere that would be.... You guys are so close mind it. Leaving Casinos and having fights in stadium(Baseball football) would help boxing more. Putting big fights in other places but Nevada would also help out. The only reason Vegas gets the big fights is that nobody would out out bid the Casinos. But Jerry Jones will.

why Dallas stadium tho? as far as sporting venues go here in the states its not even in the top 10

I get the whole tax issue but if they are talking about prestigious then it should be in Wimbledon no question about it
