uhhh raheem was a light weight and no, he was def b level. the top fighters at 130 were pac/jmm/morales(if u can argue he since he fought at lightweight). morales was an a level fighter on the decline. jmm was a b+ level fighter who got no recognition and pac was a b or b+ fighter who was still limited. jmm and pac essentially were the best fighters in the division but nothing suggested to me at the time that either would be bigger than that division in the future. a fighter like floyd or say rjj, b4 he moved up, u saw those guys and u thought, theyd be able to dominate even if they moved up. and they did. after that morales fight, did any of u guys honestly say to yourselves the same about pac???

He was talented but shouldn't be made out to be more than he was. Raheem by no means had Mayweather/Pacquiao level talent. He had all the chances in the world to look impressive against Freitas and Juarez as he did against a shopworn and bloated Morales, but he didn't.

Funeka was a bad match-up for him and a huge lightweight who made the weight sometimes with illegal methods, but the one-sided KO loss doesn't help Raheem case as Funeka was unable to display such punching power against Campbell and Guzman.

i maybe mistaken here but the way i read your post, you are saying that a fighter's class level should be determined not by his achievements at the time but by how well he should fare in fantasy fights at higher weights? im confused...

So you would rather have had Pac fight Raheem at 135 after only 2 fights at 130, the 1st of which he lost....as opposed to goin for a 130lb world title held by then rival Barrera who was on a 4year win streak following his loss to Pacquiao???

It was pretty terrible to watch but so is every Rahim fight. He's always acting like the canvas is greased up. Nevertheless, I thought he won the fight. I think I had it 115-112 or something.

Get real. He wasn't that good.

Nobody should take anything out him beating that version of Morales. Decent boxer, but thats about it.

no, i think some of the ppl on the list are a level. sergio martinez is a level, donaire isnt. get wat i mean?

and to the guy who said i base it off fantasy fights, thats not what im gettin at. i was just saying pac looked like he was good at the division he was in, so u cld say he was an a level fighter at 130, but i didnt think his skills transcended that division. i was wrong and i admit tht, but thats what i thought. i thought he was a truly limited fighter. now i think the only people he could hope to lose to at any divison betw. 135 to 154 are limited to about 3 or 4 fighters. there was no way in hell i thought that was true after the morales fight. i just call it like i see it.
