Pac was not a b-level fighter at the time. B level fighters are not 3 divison champs and a 2 time lineal champ with a win over the likes of a prime Barrera and a draw with the likes of a prime JMM. That is not a b level fighter.

And, I don't know how a top 5 fighter in the World could be a b level fighter. Even Donaire has A level talent granted he does have a c level resume.

a level talent + c level comp. equals a b level fighter. doanire hasnt fought anyone that warrants callin him a a level fighter. and once again, i said imo. so if u feel otherwise, thats coo. n pac was b level, he had lost to morales, he was one handed and very limited. i didnt say he's b level now and i dnt think he's been b level since, but i think at that time he was b level. i looked at the guy like, meh, he's ok, but i didnt see anything special.

yea there are, there have been and there always will be. they are mythical opinionated rankings. and a few of the ppl on them do not belong there imo.

B level manny destroyed A level Barrera before he lost to Morales. B level fighters shouldnt be able to dominate A level fighters man. But it's your opinion...

I guess... I mean at the time he was a 3 division champ and a 2 division lineal champ. Won his first lineal title at the age of 19. And, at the time he was fighting 5 weight-classes above were he won his first lineal title. 5 WEIGHT-CLASSES ABOVE!!!!!!!.... At 122 had a win over Ledwaba who at the time poeple thought was the best fighter at 122. And, Pac took that fight in 3 weeks notice and KO'd Ledwaba. Pac also had a win over a prime Barrera who at the time ESPN was saying was a top 50 ATG. And, not only beat him destroyed and dominated Barrera. And, had a draw against at the time a very underrated and very skilled JMM.

I just don't know how that is not special but to each is own I guess.

i personally think barerra went up against a fighter who was younger and a whole lot more fresh after a tough trilogy with morales. he was on his decline. i dnt take anyhting away from pac, because it was a good win, but im hesitant to call barerra prime at that time, he was on his decline tho.

but with all that said, isnt pac a much better fighter than he was during that first morales fight???

When Pac beat a prime Barrera the trilogy hadn't concluded yet. The trilogy concluded after Pac.

There was no indication of decline from Barrera in both his fights prior to Pac. And, even after Pac dominated him Barrera moved up in weight and unified titles and then has third fight against Morales.

I think this statement holds true for the Pac rematch but not the first fight where Pac just dominated him and stopped him.

You do know that he finished the trilogy (3rd fight) with morales AFTER his first fight with manny right (He lost the first, won the second, and won the third after pacquiao)? You also know that MAB was on a 8 fight winning streak before getting destroyed by manny right?

He is which makes it even more amazing. At worse you could say he was an A- level who now is an A level or A+ level fighter.

Cuz at the time no B level could accomplish what Pac did. You have to be better than a B level fighter to pull off what Pac did at the time.
