I thought they screwed him bad in Houston against Rocky Juarez. They took every possible infractioned (real or imagined) and penalized him. If you take away the bogus deductions, he should have gotten the decision.

The Freitas fight really ruined his marketability, however. He had a great opportunity to pick up a belt against a fighter who was not the same since the Corrales fight and froze. Not only did he lose but he turned off American TV to his career for good.

The fight with Funeka really just sealed the deal.

the fact is the guy was a good fighter, easily b level. **** pac was once b level as well, he was at the time where a raheem fight would have made sense imo.

raheem has 3 losses, only one was legit and that was to funeka, a very good fighter that i think anyone would have a hard time beating, including pac.

Wasn't Pacquiao in the top 5-6 of Ring Magazine's P4P list? I wouldn't say that would make him a B-Level fighter.

            i agree.

its a hearns leonard type of matchup. leonard and benitez could never outbox hears cuz it would make them have to move in and out which hearns was simply too fast, skilled and smart to allow not to mention he could turn the lights out if he landed flush.

the diffrence is ray could ****, raheem couldnt. and ray could take most of hearns' shots, not his very best shot but a good shot. which raheem at that stage of his career clearly didnt.

funeka is no hearns, and raheem is no leonard, but the stylistic matchup is the same. styles make fights, seems u have to remind ppl of that on a regular on this site.

Try what again? Try to make you look foolish? You're doing an excellent job on your own.
