In Pauls case he needs a big name. You know that. Hes not a star, hes not a draw. Hes needs a big name fight.

^^And Mosley ain't that. He beats Mosley and his next fight (unless it's with Pac/Floyd, obviously unlikely) still does less numbers live and on TV than a Sergio rematch right now does. I get that he wants to chase the shot at a payday at welterweight, but it would be really nice for a guy who's harped on how guys have dodged him for years now would just give us the fight everyone wants.

I disagree, Mosley has been written off many times in his career. When that happens he pulls a Margarito win, and every bandwagoner is jumping on Mosley. In my opinion an old Mosley is still a dangerous Mosley. A convincing win over Mosley gets Williams a lot of credit.

Him beating Mosley isn't going to make him a crossover star. The reason why he isn't as big as some people expected to be at this point is because he's not dominating these guys or decisively winning fights. Him beating a close to 40 yr old Mosley now isn't going to raise his stock anymore than it is now. All it'll do is make people question him further to how he contends with the live fighters right now. He can't spend years fighting the has beens of the previous decade.

Hes not dominating? His last REAL fight was vs. Martinez and it was fight of the year. Lets see somebody DOMINATE Martinez.

So him fighting a no name makes him a bigger name??

Since when has he spent years fighting has beens? Hes tried to fight every damn body. He just fought Martinez. So hes a has been?

Dude, he should stay at 54' and fight anyone of the big names there. People are gonna see right through the Mosley fight.
