He is the greatest, his actual record in the ring and the opponents he defeated can't really be argued with. He had the great competition, and he bested them all. Outside of the early to mid 90's and the 70's, the heavyweights always ******. No one cleaned house in the 90's like Ali did in the 70's. Had someone, Bowe, Holy, Tyson, Lewis etc. cleaned up that early to mid 90's division then there would be a debate about whether that mythical heavyweight was better than Ali but it didn't happen.

For the record, yes, I think the Klitschkos and Lewis would have given Ali all that he could handle, in fact I would probably slightly favor prime Wlad And Lewis and give Vitali about a 50/50 shot. But the simple fact is that Ali did the work and got the job done while the three modern greats I mentioned didn't have the opportunity or, in Lewis' case, was not given his shots at the greats of his time when they (Holy, Bowe, Tyson) were all prime.

Oh please, Ali just happened to be in the right place at the right time. There was that civil rights movement crap at the time and he exploited it. He ****** and his religious views only ruined his following ass.

Ali is great.....but he is not the greatest......guys like SRR, Burley, Sweet Pea, Duran, Joe Louis etc are better IMHO..............if you know your boxing history you could argue he lost alot of fights he got the decisions in.....the Norton fights for a start.........he also didn't go to the body.....not sure if that's something that makes him better or worse though

In my opinion he is the greatest. sweat pea, duran, burley, are nowhere near him.

But SRR is interchangeable with Ali. I don't mind him being put as number one because he has a legitimate claim to that position. The other fighters I mentioned don't.

Pre exile he did triple jabs to the body.

BTW I can't call it a gift decision if you fight your heart out. Ali did that in those fights and the right decisions were made. He never gave up even in the final 10 seconds of the fights.

The judges must have admired that.

Sorry about what happened earlier. You're not a ******. Sorry.

this is why people shouldn't have children with their siblings.

your mom/aunt and dad/uncle should have known better.
