So basically he ended up vacating the WBO title for nothing (presuming he stays at MW)

Is BS but if he has to vacate one belt vacate the Midleweight one. The big money fights are at 154 anyway.

****ken sanctioning bodies just trying to get money
        He can defen both
one fight at MW then at 154

they just want to be able to have one person so for each to keep charging them the money

I would say here and throw both in the trash
but I would hold a press conference to do it

Maybe he should just keep his SWW title because he is the lineal champ at MW and no one can strip him of that in any place other than the ring, that way he still has an official title at 154 and is a concurrent 2 division champion.

Not an idiot at all. Matter of fact he should give the WBC both belts.

Why do fighters fight for this belts I have no idea. Especially when you have to pay THEM. It should be other way around where the sanctioning bodies pay YOU to carry their crappy belt.

Because the belts accord recognition. Fighters don't start off at level of a Mayweather or a Pacquiao.

Once top fighters even like Martinez and guys of his level refuse paying for those bull**** belts. The sanctioning bodies would react different because they won't be getting the paper that they want.
