Not more popular if numbers of fans are the criteria , Floyd has a more mature fan base more payers at the box office , Pac has most of under 20s which is understandable , you know its a medical fact that under 20 males their brain is only 3/4 developed lol .

Obviously feeling that his son, Floyd Mayweather Jr., should have received the award, Sr. went on to call into question Pacquiao's accomplishments.


"Pacquiao ain't no ****ing fighter of the decade. He is a *****," a heated Mayweather Sr. commented. "Pacquiao has 2 draws and a loss in this decade. Lil' Floyd is undefeated in this decade and in his career. On top of that, Pacquiao beat 2 guys Lil' Floyd already beat and struggled twice with a guy Floyd blanked out 12 rounds to nothing," he added, implying that Pacquiao's achievments pale in comparison to those of his son.


Not only feeling that his son was slighted, Mayweather Sr. also believes that the true boxing fans, as well as the sport itself, was slighted with the BWAA's pick. "That's the kind of **** that hurts boxing. It makes no sense. Too many people in the sport don't know what the ****'s going on. That kind of **** right there is why boxing stays on the ropes," he added.



Whether or not you agree or disagree with Mayweather Sr., the good news is that he's sounding more and more like he's expecting his son to step into the ring with Manny Pacquiao in the very near future.

Elaborate please... I take it your a Mayweather fan, that sounded like a defense. Most *****s would argue Floyd is more popular than Manny anyway. Fighter of the decade is based on accomplishments and Manny regardless of how you put it or twist it, has accomplished more than Floyd has in this decade bar none period.

minoritys making big noise could have a bystander thinking their idol is more popular , but I would say Pac has more fans but like I said lots of children that are into hype follow Pac , the ones that dont pay to see him .
