Khan beats the ish outta bradley cuz even tho amir's chin is suspect, bradley cant hurt him. The jab and angles would keep catching bradley as he's trying to get inside. i see a one sided fight.I think alexander beats them both and Marquez better stay @ 135 if he knows whats good for him

I have no ties to Khan. I am neither a hater of a fan of his. My thing is this; Floyd may be looking for a big fight in the UK next year and if he beats Pacquiao, which might happen, and Khan goes on to beat a Bradley or Maidana this fall, then money wise, that fight might makes the most sense.

Why be tied down, contract wise, and close doors to potential big money fights? Depending on how Khan looks in his next two fights can definably land him a multi-million dollar payday against Floyd in the UK. I'm talking about 10+ million dollars vs at most a mill or so against Alexander or a rematch against a tourney guy he may have beaten already.

Again please remove emotions from this, and think from a business perspective as to which one makes more sense.

Khan was the one who came up the idea of the mini tournament with him fighting Maidana and Bradley fighting Alexander and the winners fighting each other. If he was going to pitch the idea surely he should have looked at the financial implications before doing so. Shaw has called his bluff and Khan /Team Khan have bailed out. If the money issues were a concern he should never have preposed the idea in the first place.

Styles make fights and it would be ****** for GBP to let Khan enter the tournament.

Quote from Roach. I'll never take a fight, if I don't trust my fighter to win the fight.
Exactly! I am glad somebody sees this ****.

                Hey, you're right.....
now that you mention it, I am sure that Khan initially suggested that he was all for a comp at 140?

Shaw really thinks Khan will fight in the tournament for a meagre $500,000? Khan already earns 3X that per fight. $500,000 to Khan means nothing, It might be alot of money for Bradley, Alexander but for Khan its loose change by the time he converts it into pounds its probably less than what his lamborghini costs! LOL. Add an extra 0 and make it $5000000 and Khan will fight.

Seriosuly I dont know what Shaw is smoking but it must be some strong stuff. Joker!
that's just an additional money, a bonus on top of the payday. that's not bad at all, when the tournament adds a lot of energy as Pac-Maywaether is very unlikely to happen.

Salita was recognised by everyone except the WBA as a complete journeyman, and no one was surprised that Khan beat him easily, although the speed of the win was a surprise. The only hype he received was based on his ethnicity, similar to Yuri Foreman, although Foreman is at least a recognised top 10 fighter, whereas Salita wasn't in anyone's top 20 other than the WBA's. Boxrec ranked him around #30 at the time.

Khan said he wanted a tourney, then as soon as he's offered one he bails out, which on the back of ducking his mandatory makes him look terrible. He also said he wants to fight Maidana next, but now his team are saying he'll fight Marquez and not Maidana because there's more money in it. Ducking your mandatory for one fight is one thing, but to continue to do so indefinitely makes it obvious that his team just don't want to risk his chin. In the long run he'll make more money if he gets respect, and he won't get respect by continuing to duck Maidana.

He said in his post-fight interview that he wouldn't move up to Welterweight until he'd cleaned out his division. But Marquez isn't even ranked in his division.

If Mayweather fought him on the basis that he'd beaten Marquez (who is not and never will be a top Jr Welterweight, and who is showing his age), that would be pathetic, and I don't think even Floyd's most rabid fans would defend Floyd if he did that. They defended him for taking the Marquez fight on the basis that it was just a tune-up, but they couldn't use that excuse this time.

Unless Khan steps up and fights some top Jr Welterweights who can punch, no one with any understanding of boxing should even be thinking about him fighting Floyd. It's absolutely ridiculous.
