But then again any proper 140 pound tournament should include Bradley, Alexander, Maidana, Khan, and Ortiz.

JMM should only be thrown in there if you need a sixth man.

    pretty much.

Anybody with a pulse who follows boxing and knows 140...knows it's Timmy, Devon, Chino, Ortiz, Khan and possibly Cayo. JMM has no business at 140.

How many total ***** moves does Khan have to make before even his fans will start to pay attention? He wants easy fights against old men, feather fisted or shot fighters. He is everything wrong with boxing. Fuuck him and Golden Boy.

About Khan calling for the tourney and then bailing out of it when its being made? Sounds like Khan has sand in his vagina.

Khan does'nt want to fight anybody?????? Last month he wanted to fight everyone, mabe his big head shank back to normal size and realized he has a glass jaw. This is a good move by Khan and Golden Boy. Khan would get slaughtered.

I've been wondering for quite some time and since the Super Six started why there aren't more tournaments in boxing, spanning multiple weight classes. It is my opinion that these tournaments are exactly what the sport needs and what its fans crave. After reading this article it's clear that they likely don't or won't happen simply because someone doesn't want to fight, has money or location issues, there are cross promotion issues, etc.

I guess Khan's people want to take the road that poses the least amount of risk to his career, whilst they build him up against less then elite/dangerous opponents and rake in the dough.

Truly a shame that the politics of boxing keep other tournaments from happening. They should make the tournament anyway and just exclude Khan. I'd love watching the tournament!

Reading this though makes me respect all of the super middleweight fighters and promoters in Showtime's tournament...way to get it done guys. Every fighter in that is well aware it could make or break their career yet they all went ahead regardless!

It seems to me the only guy at 140 that will fight anyone is Devon Alexander.
