Margarito fought a guy with an iron chin and big power whereas Cotto fought a timid one legged fighter with no power and no durability. Big difference here folks.

That aura of invicibility is shattered. People know 1) He can be knocked out 2) It's highly likely that a lot of his *pressure* fighting of the past was so effective because of cheating, he knew he could give 1 punch and take 3 (much like Cesar Chavez did) because his punches were going to be effective [via cheating]

cotto had an easy nights work because hes a powerful technician, and ure right comparing foreman and garcia isnt fair, foreman is a pedigree amateur and a former undefeated world champ, garcia is nobody, has no defense and is really slow

Garcia was very tough and made Marg work all night. Foreman was a one legged, cut, feather fisted opponent.

It was a high tempo fight and Marg knocked him down with a perfect one two early, then decided to out box him in the 2nd half of the fight after a 1 year lay off.

Marg doesnt destroy every opponent. Garcia took many big shots.

well put. That was a garbage performance on Tony's part vs a subpar to the max competition. Interestingly I think Mosley exposed the fact that not only is Tony showing lots of signs of wear but he cant take it to the body. Look at the clip fighting provided, he was hit cleanly a couple of times to the body and it was obvious it hurt him enough for him to drop his guard and keep it there till he was out of harms way. If Cotto wants revenge Margarito is prime for the taking. Honestly Id like to see what Martinez or Cotto would do to Cheatarito at this point.

People are too much on the hype that they fail to miss Cotto had his mouth open by the 4th round vs Foreman. I don't think his stamina has improved.

Also, this one is for the spanish speakers that saw the Margs vs Garcia fight. If you noticed in between one of the rounds, Garcia(the trainer) didn't want him to get the knock out. He wanted him to get the rounds in. Which in my opinion is smart considering the inactivity.

I put more on the comment but as far as what you put on here.....you may be right. But I do know they left something in the ring that night they fought. Only time will tell in their next fight. I hope it's May vs Pac and Margs vs Cotto 2. Would be so much better for boxing in my opinion.
