Who would have been better & have the longer reign as champions if muhhamad ali was not around. Imo is foreman.

ali fought liston in the early 60's.

foreman fought ali in the 70's.



liston's early loss was when he was barely starting out and still a kid in the 1950's.

after his losses to ali , his next loss wasn't til he was like 38.


foreman was beaten in his prime by not only ali but jimmy young as well. plus ron lyle almost koed george before that.



aside from ali , i don't see anyone beating a prime liston in that era.
