You're right about plaster or not vs Mosley though. Mosley fought a perfect fight against Margs.
ok maybe at WW, but cotto's career resume as a whole is much better than margs. to hold it to one weight class is lame, esp considering that cotto fought alot at junior welter.

btw thats just at welterweight. IMO only fighter cotto lost to was pacquiao.
Gomez? Jennings? I'll give him Judah and Quintana (I said before Mosley). A lot of people believe that Clottey won that fight. I didn't watch it so I can give you my opinion. I'm not saying that before Margarito fought Cotto he was the #1 WW, but he fought anybody that was available. He fought Williams which no one wants to fight. He fought Clottey, Cintron, Santos. As far as believing that Cotto has only lost to Pacquiao a lot of people feel that way. Hey there's only one way to find out. Cotto-Margarito II

you can laugh at it but clottey looked completely different in that fight once he said he hurt his hand.

but your right clottey is flimsy an inconsistent, not trying to take the win from marg but clottey looked different in a fight imo he was winning.

Unless you want to include Cotto's run at 140 which that gets overrated too.
What if find funny is that out is that he beat 3 of the top 5 current 154 pounders and fought the #2 160 pound in Williams to a close fight. Cotto never fought Cintron, Martinez nor Williams.

I wouldn't say much better overall but I would agree if a bit better.

I knew someone was gonna bring that into this thread as soon as it went in the direction it did. Okay, so Malinaggi, Corley, Torres, Pinto, and Bailey are good wins? Every single one of those guys went on to become gate keepers.

Well according to Clottey he injured his hand which is possible. But like it was stated earlier he folds under pressure. Margarito had a long layoff and was fighting ring rust and had mentioned that he hurt his ankle during training camp.

Sort of like his stomach problems with Pac lol.

What fighter that is elite doesn't win most of the time vs Margs in the first couple of rounds?? Pressure fighters like to take you into deep waters and fuck you up. If you know your boxing, you would know that bro.

That is what Marg is going to become a gate keeper.

Margs is at his end like Cotto. Sorry but that didn't happen.
