His emphasis on Mosley-May being competitive leading up to the fight was heard by everyone. He kept stressing how Mosley had more chance then people gave him, and how every1 was underestimating him. He called the odds in Floyd's favor a little unreasonable because according to him Mosley was no walk in the park. He kept stressing this point throughout the broadcast of the fight, and even before the fight.
But what happens when he sees Floyd beating Mosley? Instead of giving Floyd his dues, and recognizing greatness he quickly states, "I didn't think I would be saying this but Mosley looks his age tonight."
Those were (and still are) the words of pure haterism. I love Steward, but I don't think he should call a Floyd fight. Instead of admitting he was wrong he started making up excuses, as to why Floyd was dominating Mosley.
Also don't get me wrong I love and enjoy our current HBO analyst and believe they are a great team, but I don't want to see the same team who literally slobbed over pacs nuts in his fight against clottey commentate a possible pac-floyd fight...
