He wants to be HW champ, just listen to every single interview he's done since the olympics, its all he ever talks about.

He IS fecked up in the head enough to believe that he can do it.

Yeah i dont believe the "Payday" agruement neither, Harrison is loaded vey vey loaded but he has this ****ed up thing about fulfilling is destiny in becoming a HW champion, He speaks about it like he is a prophet from church or something, Its very weird having to listen to him sometimes even though he is a very articulate fella.

I think if Harrison won the world would be a better place.

I agree. I mean I just can't believe this fight even has a chance of happening. What is the world coming to.

Wow, just wow! I've heard of nuthugging but McGuigan takes the biscuit. It is Haye who has failed to strike a deal with the Klitschko brothers - or at least with Wlad, who has offered him 50/50 and no options, which is a much better deal than he really deserves to get - not the other way round.

I have always liked McGuigan as a fighter and in my opinion he has always been above board with his opinions. So, I don't understand why you are reading so much into what he said. The Klit bothers were doing the foot work to get Haye into the ring and for what ever reason their efforts fell short and by definition that can be considered a failure. And I don't get the impression that Barry was implying in any way that the failure was on the part of the Klit bros because of silly demands or slave contracts. It just seems that Barry was simply implying they were the ones doing the foot work and therefore failed in their attempt to get Haye in the ring. Did I already say that?

Where is this article did Barry claim Harrison deserved this fight? All he said is, "It seems like the natural progression." And I believe he was referring to Olympic Heavyweight Gold medal winners in general fighting for the heavyweight title and never implied that Harrison deserved the shot. At least that is the way I read it. And how many Olympic gold medal winner have fought for the and may not have deserved a shot at the title? I am not going to pretend that I know the answer but one Pete Radamacher fought Floyd Patterson for the championship in his pro debut. And why? Simply because he was the Heavyweight Gold medal winner in the 1956 Olympics.

I hope Harrison lands a lucky punch that puts Haye to sleep.

Dan Rafael of ESPN.com put Haye in his place Friday, calling him a “chump” and a “fraud.”

“He is a fraud if he takes that (Harrison) fight. It’s one thing to take that fight if you keep your mouth shut and just go about your business. Fine. No problem at all. But when you yap and yap and yap and yap for years about the Klitschkos and get them served on a silver platter with a deal that makes sense (as in no options and 50-50) and you still flee like you just got caught in bed with your best friend’s girl, you’re a chump and a fraud.”
