I have to say it is pretty amusing that anyone would base anything meaningful off of what rappers had to say when the topic is racism. And I just have to ask what do you think "white boy" was a term of endearment between Hopkins and Calzaghe? And this for other posters. The only robbery in their fight was the fact that it was scored a split decision. Because Joe won and he won easy, and in a few years Joe will standing at a podium in upstate New York as he is being enshrined in the HOF.

the calzaghe that showed up to beat hopkins & roy would be a 50-50 fight vs dawson in my opinion. if calzaghe comes back a tune up fight would be best to see how much he has left.

It was a historical statement, Hopkins was simply playing on previous history. Before Alan Minter, an English fighter, fought Hagler, Minter said he would never lose his title to a black man. Hopkins was simply revisiting history and those who realized it deemed it ingenious. He was in front of all English journalists who chuckled, no feathers were ruffled, Im sure many of them remembered the Minter statement and thought it clever.
